Geno worries me. Did enough to win but from the start of the second until the last minute he was a disaster. It’s difficult not to root for him, but he’s been miles off it recently. I think we’re looking way ahead of where we should be in our development and the defence fills me with a lot of confidence, but I don’t think we’re a contender with him at QB.

500 dead in a single strike on a hospital. Very hard to argue this wasn’t deliberate. At what point is a stop put to this? How long will the UK and US blindly back it?

Wasn’t just the goal though. The guy was at it all night. Every 50/50 given their way, McGinn completely wiped out on the edge of their box and told to get up. It was really one-sided. Don’t think we can argue that Spain didn’t deserve to win, but we weren’t helped in the slightest.

Hard not to scream corruption with decisions like that. He’s been at it all night.

The IDF entering Gaza will result in a bloodbath. Power already cut off, water and food shortages, indiscriminate bombing. Hamas’ actions were disgusting but that doesn’t justify the civilian deaths that are going to occur as a result of this. The Palestinian people don’t deserve it and aren’t responsible for Hamas’ attacks. Israel knows this but doesn’t care.

I never justified it or attempted to do so. It’s wrong. I said that Israel has to accept some responsibility for the situation deteriorating to the point at which it has come to this. And that’s true.

There’s clearly no justification for the murder of civilians. And it’s not a black and white issue, but Israel has to accept significant responsibility for this, Netanyahu more than anyone. Oppression breeds hate, and it’s very difficult to argue that Palestinians haven’t been oppressed. A significant portion of the international community recognises this, but Israel can’t be held accountable because the US constantly vetoes any proposal deemed detrimental to Israel at the UN. That’s not a reflection of a fair system. Its a depressing situation and there’s a very real risk of genocide occurring here imo, but it’s not a surprising one. There’s no justification for defending Hamas’ actions, but it’s been coming for a while.

It’s every fucking game. Good thing you guys aren’t sensitive about it.

You can criticise them for that, absolutely. That has nothing to do with the 75+ minutes of whingeing about everything else though.

Not particularly. But the constant complaining at every breakdown, in every single game Scotland play on here, is biased, boring and a pain the arse to read. The same posters are guilty of it during every test, and there’s never mention of anything that might go our way. It’s always seemingly us that are being screwed by the referee.
