I would go as far to say that Les Hope is the worst chairman we've had.

You can also throw in the 5-0 to Peterhead, 6-2 to Falkirk and 4-1 to Edinburgh City (who were a division below us) from his first season and the seven we shipped to Rangers b last season. I might be willing to disregard that last one considering we played a second choice team but the rest is pretty damning.

Aye, that was the last time we bettered the previous season's position. 2014/15 7th 2015/16 8th 2016/17 8th 2017/18 9th (relegated) 2018/19 6th 2019/20 6th 2020/21 9th (stayed up) 2021/22 9th (relegated) 2022/23 2nd (stayed down). And it was on this very night six years ago that we had that superb night in Oswestry.

Two seasons ago we picked up nine points from nine games at home after New year compared with seven from nine away. Last year we got 14 points from ten at home while picking up eight from eight away. There's not much difference between h&a records.
