  1. Through this season we will see some major developments at the park, we were hoping to have them in place by now but red tape has held us up. We do have changing rooms at the park now at least. Pitch will be relaid and seating installed for next season
  2. No mate it’s the 3G at the front of Airdrie Sports centre
  3. Little Gartcairn Juniors... although we have moved parks this year so will be a little different
  4. Cant wait for the season to start. home game against one of my fav junior clubs, Cambuslang Rangers. lots of top players in the league this season.
  5. Ryso is a good player but was only with us for a short time. we wish him all the very best.
  6. Gartcairn are delighted to welcome ex Rob Roy and Cambuslang Rangers goalkeeper Iain Stewart to the club
  7. I think they may have signed Jake or Darren Bowie but not to sure. Both good players
  8. Gartcairn are delighted to announce the signing of ex Stenny, Cumnock and Cumbernauld Utd captain Paul Murphy
  9. Gartcairn are delighted to announce our first 2 new signings of the season. Liam Crighton formerly of Rossvale and Chris Lennon Formerly Cumbernauld Utd. Cairn have already resigned the majority of our title winning team from last season.
  10. As pre season as not to far away, Gartcairn have re signed the majority of last season league winning squad. We hope to add 4 or 5 along with promoting 3 or 4 from our excellent under 21's team. Fixtures and new signings will be announced shortly MTC
  11. Really looking forward to next season playing against so many famous junior clubs with some excellent grounds. Darvel, Cumbernauld, Peasy, Arthurlie for me will be the favs but any team in this league are very capable of putting good runs together so who knows. I will predict that neither Gartcairn Blantyre or Shotts will get relegated though. Good luck to all clubs
  12. Of course i dont know but going by the size of some clubs id imagine id be correct.
  13. Just read back through a few pages about the new manager and budgets etc. Why is it seen as a negative that clubs like Darvel are spending big on and off the park. Im sure they had a good budget this season but looks like they wont be promoted. Surely they should be congratulated in growing their club and bringing in a good management team. The colville Park lads know how to win but to win at this level im sure is very different but i wish them all the very best. Gartcairn although new to Junior football should be in the championship next season and we will be there by using half the budget that some other teams in league 1 will have used. Budget means you can offer more money but will not guarantee top players will come to a certain area, division or play for certain managers so success is never a given. Good luck to all involved
  14. Gartcairn 1 v 0 Maryhill i thought it was going to be one of those days in football where you do everything except score. First half we missed easily over 10 good chances with 3 really being sitters but 0 v 0 at the break. Second half we missed another 3 or 4 before Hill nearly made us pay with 3 decent chances of their own. Not settling for a point in the last 2 minutes we ended up with 5 up top only for our centre half Kev Ross to skilfully ghost past 2 players before placing it into the bottom corner 1 v 0 FT coukd be a massive 3 points as we have some very tough fixtures coming up. Away to Perthshire and Port Glasgow. MTC
  15. Can be mate but it’s a must if we have over 100 at the game
  16. Mr Wilson we do get them if we know there is going to be a decent crowd. we had them against Whitburn last season. YIF - I thought Lochee were a good side and a superb club to be honest. really nice guys. I do believe they were missing a few players so its difficult to judge them on that performance. I dont think they would get into the West Super Prem top 6 based on what i seen but as i said they were missing a few.
  17. No mate they are 1 minute from the park. We had to have a risk assessment done. maybe your a slow walker lol
  18. Customers can have tea coffee biscuits sweets crisps sometimes soup, pies or sausage rolls. The games are usually always on due to the 3G surface. Toilets are a short 1 minute walk to the sporty. Music at half time and before changing rooms are in the sporty although could have been in the school which is a 30 second walk from the park. No further than you would at Royal Albert or Rossvale for example. no idea why the SJFA wouldn’t allow us to host 79 supporters as we do this most weeks in the league
  19. Cairn travel to Bellshill next week in another very difficult league game
  20. Lads let’s not get into any nonsense on this thread. What goes on with JC and Fauldhouse is none of our concern. Get back to talking about football please
