I can see from a managers point of view you would always want to protect your players but from a match report point of view you need to tell the truth surely?

JC that’s a fair report imo. chris our young keeper has been excellent for us and made 2 or 3 excellent saves yesterday but he will be first to admit he should have done better at both goals. Against top teams you can’t gift 2 goals and not take guilt edge chances if you want to win. Players have been excellent this season but yesterday just didn’t work out for us. Onwards to next week.

Ballooned over the bar is still a chance lol

Disgrace we had to move today to host the massive support from Lochee Utd. It cost us about £100 more plus due to the added distance for Lochee to travel it cost us even more in mileage to them! it was mobbed as well! Shame on you SJFA

Game now at petershill Juniors Park. I’ll bet the SJFA still want there full 10% although the club have an extra £100 expense. It’s all about money with these people and the clubs get nothing in return!

Just a few pics of the current situation

No idea. There is public toilets in the sporty, hot drinks available and the park is fully covered with boards so you can’t see in. Other than the hill behind the goals as you can see over the fence. We have a 100 vehicle car park in the school and the changing rooms are 30 seconds from the park. So I have no idea what the reason is this time. we have hosted Albion Rovers (450 supporters) Arthurlie (230 supporters) Clydebank (250 supporters) Whitburn Juniors (150 supporters) without any issues at all.

Looks like the SJFA have rejected us playing this one at home as well! Must think Lochee will be bringing 500 like Ladeside were supposed to be. Reason we have been given is no shelter etc but I can give you lots of clubs who don’t have that luxury either but can still host big games. Rossvale, Benburb and Newmains to name a few

Yorkers league position is defo a false one for me. One of the best teams we have played this season so far

I know we take some abuse for our park and set up but today at least shows 1 positive. The game went ahead when many other better grounds didn’t. We also gave all suppprters free pies tea coffee etc for braving the weather.

Great result but a poor game. Ardrossan are a very well organised physical team and were very hard to break down. I thought we were poor today other than the 3 or 4 times we played decent football and created chances. All the best to Ardrossan. Great set up and nice people

Great result for us yesterday up at Shotts. Greenock next week who we have never played before. Looking forward to it!

Pubs all over lol

i have to laugh at lavish spending lol it costs us £260 per home game at our current park so we are doing all we can to move and include better facilities. On the park we spend what we can afford just the same as any other club.
