Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

Sleep was my first thought. -
I've never understood why people use the argument of having family in the car for a reason for driving more safely. You should be driving safely all the time. You also shouldn't have to rely "heavily" that a car you are overtaking is a fanny. There would be no overtaking at all if that was the case. I've mentioned this previously, the utter worst kind of c**t on the road endangering everyone around them because they think people shouldn't be overtaking.

Die & Bovril? -
On my way home recently, the car in front hit their brakes over 50 times in about a 4 mile stretch. I used them twice. In case anyone wondered why I was counting, totally bored being stuck behind them and it gave me something to do.

Fair dooz (couldn't resist) But Christ on a bike, Culzean with a hard "z"!!! In all seriousness, why this isn't taught in "English" at high school is pretty poor fair, in the same way that Scots history is overlooked over UK history. -
High-oon-die was how it was advertised in the UK a decade or so back. Now it's hoon-day. Ffs get it right first time. And while we're at it, it's fucking Holyrood not Hollyrood. Given how much effort went into getting the parliament in the first place it's "heads gone" thread territory for me every time I watch the news. And it's Nigh-kay, not Nike.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yogh Angus place names are far more likely to be Pictish and far less likely to have a gaelic yogh (z) in them. As an aside, how do you pronounce Culzean? Hope that helps. -

Love the 5 star comments on various shopping sites... "I gave it 5 stars, not used them yet but they look great" Alternatively the 1 star ratings... "I ordered the wrong thing so 1 star from me" -

The first is just poor research. The second is forgivable in as much that first syllables are rarely stressed more than the second outwith Scotland. -

Because it's not London? -
It's my young lads car. No issues with the dust covers though, need a fair bit of pressure to get them off. Update, no local breakers yards have them. Arnold Clark in Dundee were decent but stated that it's part of the headlight unit and can't be bought separately! Universal clips are miles away from fitting correctly, going to have to make one myself.
