  1. This is incorrect. We should have locked tbe schools from the outside 3 weeks ago, let them get herd immunity and let us do important grown up things. Armchair epidemiology is way more acceptable than criticising consi at lb.
  2. We were already way below capacity. Hyperinflation is only really a risk if we overshoot the amount of money needed to replace lost real income. It is possible and a risk, but so is a full on collapse of the economy. Fortunately, we elect clever people with impeccable judgement to make these difficult calls on our behalf
  3. Not if they're QE instruments. (aka printing money)
  4. Well you could buy stuff to start with. It's also a store of value. Unlike shares, bonds and possibly even more so than real estate. Currencies could take a beating in the near future too. You're obviously thinking too short term about food and arsewiping. Thinking two moves ahead is what keeps our reptoid oppressors in power.
  5. That's just untrue. Many of them have piles of gold bullion buried in the grounds of their estates and remote private islands.
  6. Fortunately still not as bad as the EU though, up yours delors etc...
  7. 20200317-sitrep-57-covid-19.pdf Updated league tables attached. Pakistan is a real worry here- almost doubled without any reported community transmission + large urban population. Starting to wonder whether the demography of most of Africa and south Asia might help with that herd immunity approach? Can only hope.
  8. Unless you're in the video or otherwise helped make it, i wasn't talking about you. Are you in the video?
  9. They'll have buckets to save up for their trip to Afghanistan.
  10. Is this a mainstream view amongst your lot? Just seems too sensible.
  11. In that case, the answer is no. Because there is no level playing field. And it would be mental.
  12. is the stipulation that you must field the same team that was available when the game was due to be played?
  13. To be fair, this issue has only arisen because of a rule you have dreamed up. And I've not heard Doncaster called the Gov before, he'll love that.
  14. Apparently Doncaster will make a decision later today once he's seen what England's doing.
  15. For clarity, we didn't avoid relegation. We were deprived of the chance to gub a shitey Falkirk team by their own board's ineptitude. Aberdeen are the real victims in this.
  16. They've also completely missed the point about the new stadium. It wasn't to increase seating capacity. It's to increase earning capacity and reduce costs. Whether it will or not remains to be seen but it is quite obvious that crowd numbers aren't the driving factor. Their qualifications to talk about these things on telly are that they are recognisable and don't say "erm" too much. I think expecting understanding and insight is unrealistic.
  17. Well played Saints. Some quality performances and well deserved. Hearts looking doomed.
  18. A well argued case. Great teamwork guys!
  19. I wasn't in that photo, but i am now. How could you possibly know?
