  1. Can't understand delicate wee flowers that get upset by the smell of food.
  2. Two points will always be in a line with each other. What are you blathering about
  3. My youngest has insisted on bingeing Young Sheldon. I’m probably missing loads of in jokes from never watching Big Bang Theory but it’s decent on its own so far. Has that slightly cloying contrived pathos that US prime time sitcoms always have though.
  4. Not consistent quality but massively influential and still occasionally hitting high points and innovating to the very end, this wee mentalist:
  5. Chilli Peppers was a good shout. Tempted to go for Phil Collins but he wasn't that long lasting, as a solo twat at least. The crown of crap must be worn by the, admittedly moderately talented, entertainment vacuum who had 14 number ones across five decades and actually released a cover version of the lord's prayer.
  6. I can't see us keeping Miovski and think the best we can hope for is a good sale- early in the window for a good cash fee-to fund a rebuild. I'd love another season though.
  7. It's an interesting idea, his law of infodynamics. Don't follow the logic for how it supports simulation theory. It does look like he's the only person that's written about it. It's got a bit of a profile so i'd suspect if it was outright nonsense someone would have publicly slapped it down by now. I think if we figure out it's all a game we go on to the next level
  8. My wife decided to attempt poaching an egg the other day. The instructions she looked up (bbc good food) started off with "make sure you strain your egg". She had the egg in a sieve. Has anyone ever heard of this tomfoolery before? In 30 years of poaching (on and off, sometimes professionally from five star hotels to brewer's fayres) i've never once heard of this nonsense. What the f**k man. Probably some foodie twat like nigel slater or that wee shoplifting guy making up stuff.
  9. What's everyone's take on the squad priorities for the rebuild? Assuming yimmy's preferred 433 GK- roos away. No 1 needed. Doohan - good enough back up? Doubt it but lowish priority? Richie- project, under contract until next year. Will he make it or is it too early to tell for a keeper? Need 1x starter, maybe ok for back up. RB- Richardson back-yay! Milne- looked good in semi but was patchy before. Worth persevering i think. Devlin- great attitude and commitment. Ok going forward but a terrible defender. Should be back up. Need 1x starter. Fine for back up. CB- assuming back four and Gartenmen away. Rubezic- has improved hugely in the imagination with each week out. Probably a reasonable starter alongside an experienced foreman. Jensen - just a bit lacking in most departments. Capable of good games. Will probably have to do as back up. McDonald- Meat and potatoes defender with suspect decision making; occasional bombscare. Good back up. Need 1x starter minimum LB McKenzie - improved since Barry left. Largely coped with all non OF wingers and we don't have europe next season so probably low priority to replace. Can do job as starter. McGarry - shown little but looks shite. Hayes- looks like coaching now. Ngwena-? Need 1x cover/project. Midfield Assuming we go with a three and Baron is away. Shinnie - still a starter for me. Might start to need managed a bit more-succession plan required. Polvara - still a project? Needs to step up. Can look really good and like a wee boy in the same ten minutes. Definitely worth squad berth. McGrath - Starter for me. No question. Clarkson - on own merits, a starter. If McGrath is starting in a three, we'd be a bit light with both in there. Alternating starts and supersub appearances. Duncan- looked better when he was a winger. Looks a bit lost in the middle. Marshall -? Need 1x aggressive type plus possibly all rounder cover/project. Wingers Vincente- honestly f**k knows. Looks talented. Hasn't taken chances. Must piss coaches off. Morris - he can run fast but has no end product. If we're leading in a game he'd be useful to take the ball into the corner, so long as he doesn't have to cross it. Duk? - would he be left of a three? I'll say yes. If he lays off the natas and super bock over the summer. Sokkler- could be right of a three. Has pace but not seen much on the ball. Probably needed in the middle. Need 1x starter + 1x project back up. Striker Bojan - just about the required standard. Stick. Sokler - looks like he has something. Not a Miovski but looks more than SPL level decent. Worth starting assuming that Miovski will actually be funding the rebuild. Guye- looked like he was on glue when he got a chance but there must be something about him. Enigma. Duk- is he a striker? Possibly. Bavidge -? Need 1x project (could be Bavidge) I make that: 2 x keepers, 1 to start 1 x starting RB 1 x starting CB 1x squad LB 1x midfield General 2x wingers, 1 to start 1x project striker That’s minimum really.
  10. This post certainly brings to mind a well known austrian
  11. Leslie Neilsen was in Murder She Wrote. I don't have a picture so you'll just have to trust me.
  12. I can read between the lines. Are you suggesting that the state should expropriate 30% of the value of all owned property to pay down the debt? Radical, bit worth considering.
  13. Best for me was Mike Leigh's Naked in the cinema tent at Glastonbury in the early nineties. For those that don't know the film, it's a darkly comic, melodramatic, meditation on alienation and cycles of abuse in the modern urban world. I've heard it called pretentious shite but i love it. Watched while sitting on grass, leaning on a bale of hay, tripping on strawberries and caning through the eighth of soap bar that my mate had just found on the ground. Went outside to 28° heat, bright sunshine then off to see the Beastie Boys (if i remember correctly which i almost certainly don't).
  14. So you're saying that we need to do better with inheritance tax. Lower threshholds, residence basis, increased progressive rates and start culling elderly aristocrats? I agree, well done.
  15. My leather jacket turns 30 in a few weeks. Been in the cupboard mainly for about the last ten to fifteen. Tried it on last month and got a vicious slagging off the kids for having a midlife crisis. I looked fuckin cool though
  16. At my daughters' school, throwing a kids phone out of the window would be a causal factor on the coroner's report.
  17. You just need to be more patient and not rush to remove the tissue. Simply remove the tissue before you commence wanking, and place it conveniently for later use.
  18. Celtic have written to the SFA to demand clarification
  19. Given that Thelin isn't starting until June this year, that makes it even more baffling that we gave Barry the job when we did last year. Unless he was going to go elsewhere while his stock was high.
  20. As far as I know, there was a consultancy reviewing the structure and running of football operations. Burrows was also involved, which he wasn't before. https://www.afc.co.uk/2024/03/11/club-statement-football-review-update/ It looks like the consultancy might have been directly involved in the recruitment, and some mysterious "partners" too. I'm probably mentally embellishing what's actually been said a bit and making assumptions about how shite the process was before. But appointing a family friend doesn't scream top end business practice.
  21. He was effective. But, yeah, I noticed one ball that came into the crowded box where he let it drop across his body onto his right foot when he could/should have headed/chested/shouldered it far more aggressively but the Celtic player a foot or two away just watched him. Likes of Curtis Main would have run through him and come out with the ball.
