Looks like Dick's constructing the League 2 version of the galacticos. Does'nt automatically follow that they'll stroll the league of course, but impressive early business nonetheless. It'd be nice to see some action down Shielfield way now that we've re-signed the majority of players that we wanted to keep. Next season's league looks even tougher than the one just past.

Last Saturday's match? No, that was former Elgin player Graeme Beveridge. Callum Crane on loan from Hibs is our normal left back but he was suspended last weekend after a red card v Arbroath. Notman's our defensive midfielder. Been with us around 8 years and rated by most, though goes about his business under the radar. Good player that i'd like to see back at Shielfield next season.

Lavery has just signed a new 2 year deal at Shielfield, though I hear you're after Notman, who has also been offered a two year deal at Berwick.

Has been offered a new deal by us but on reduced terms. He's a player that can score all types of goals, is quick and when confident will do a job for you, but Cameron played him coming in off the left flank for most of last season (though he was out for a while with a work-related injury), and that seemed to hobble him. First touch is like someone trying to trap a spacehopper, but he'll score goals and can take people on. I would'nt be sorry to lose him, because our squad of perennial under-achievers needs a major overhaul anyway.

You were after Darren Lavery from us last summer. Would'nt surprise me if he's one of them.
