  2. When I searched for photos of the apple crush a few pictures like this one came up. Think the Garvie's brand must have been bought by a Dunns at some point. There was a Garvie's limeade photo too so you're not imagining it!
  3. Would now only be 1 crisp and about 12 salts thanks to shrinkflation.
  4. Used to get this in local chip shop years ago. Long gone now I guess?
  5. Used to like the novelty of these as a kid: Kettle chips are good, especially the balsamic flavoured ones.
  6. There should have been national days of mourning for Brannigans Beef and Mustard. A sad loss.
  7. I like chocolate too much to pick one and most have been mentioned already. For sweeties, surely an honourable mention for:
  8. #Worldle #198 X/6 (98%) https://worldle.teuteuf.fr Aargh how frustrating. First time trying this. Think I'd be better at flags than country shapes but this works better as a puzzle than the flag one.
  9. Maybe so but he is also definitely a Talking (a lot of crap) Head.
  10. I think that's a really nice kit. Even has these two gents wearing it!
  11. It might be that a better place for some of this recent discussion to continue is here: https://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/index.php?/topic/263831-coronavirus-covid-19/page/2012/#comments Currently 2012 pages of comments to catch up on too if you have some spare time.
  12. Well you did say it's why he got sent off cos he was trying to get Pirrie, made it seem like that's why he chose to do it. Doesn't matter tho was really just meaning to point out it wasn't Pirrie the keeper got because he'd already been subbed for his own shocker! Good luck to St Rochs they've been a good addition to the league imo.
  13. There were 3 bad tackles. Hanlon, Pirrie and the keeper. Hanlon seemed to think getting away with his and screaming when barely touched were both funny. He's an old head- think he enjoys the wind up. Pirrie was a bad tackle and that's why he was subbed after getting away with it. The keeper was sent off for easily the worst of them and it was on another player whos only crime was scoring goals past him so don't make excuses about trying to get revenge on Pirrie!
  14. Completely agree, it was the most I've enjoyed a gig in a while too. Music, lights and videos all combined really well to give a performance full of energy and really tell a story too. Saw them once before at Oran Mor and that was great too but Barrowlands show was outstanding.
  15. Probably was Rob McLean as I remember him taking a right slagging in next round against Dundee too, I was standing just near commentary cage that day and kept hearing chants about him shagging sheep. I was normally in other bits of ground so that was a new feature for me!
  16. He's still involved in football, he's assistant manager to John Sludden at East Stirling. Was assistant manager at Camelon for a while and at Kilsyth Rangers before that, where he won a league title and was well thought of. Still likes a sunbed!
  17. Enjoyed Explosions in the Sky at the Barrowlands on Tue. Thought the stuff from the new album fitted in well. Good spread of tracks from across their albums, was really happy they played With Tired Minds... it's one of my favourites and I hadn't heard them do it before. Big crowd, some annoyingly chatty folk near the edges but was pretty quiet in the middle where I was.
  18. Ah of course, wasn't thinking. That explains a lot!
  19. I see on bbc that Thomas Grant has signed for Fleetwood. Seems a decent move for him managing to get a contract at League 1 considering things haven't quite worked out at Falkirk.
