This referee is shite.  Allowing himself to be conned by these Greenock cheats.

Very disappointing way to concede a goal, drop points, double the amount of league goals we’ve conceded and lose our position as league leaders.

It’s the first time this season that I have had cause to be critical of the officials, hopefully it’s the exception rather than the rule.

I’d like to see the red card incident again.

Still, nice to see you’re taking it so well…..  😁

And serves ye right for that “Morten” pish you started the thread with. GIRFUY.   🤣🤣🤣

Consider that condescending pish noted and then filed immediately in the bin where it belongs.

Well you're certainly demonstrating that you don't care, by this blubbering meltdown and all.

    Ooft.......    😁

Total lack of self-awareness there, champ.

If it's "condescending pish" and "blubbering nonsense" that you're after, from someone who cares way too much about stuff on this cesspit, look no further than your own hysterical contributions on the Raith v Morton thread.......  y'know, the stuff that got you banned for a while? Try to read it objectively, maybe you'll learn something about yourself and how you're regarded.............

I have no issue with people commenting on topics that have zero bearing to their team. It’s more about an incredibly pointless discussion about something the referee got right at the time.

So address yer own lot as well as ours.

I agree that it’s getting tedious now - but if it wasn’t a dialogue rather than a monologue it would’ve been dead by Sunday morning.

I find it hard to believe that Morton* fans are still whining about a perfectly routine cynical challenge made in a game they actually won that happened on Saturday.

*In fact no, it makes sense now.

    Yeah, you’re quite right.

We should all just hold our tongues about it and let a few roasters in your support hammer on about it with absolutely no response from us.

Wouldve thought you’d been on here long enough by now to grasp what the concept of an open forum means, tbh…….

You missed Andy Murdoch.  You guys had the pitchforks out at your club for letting that one happen at the time.

Letting Andy Murdoch go was one of the first decisions made by the dick that is Ray McKinnon. The support couldn’t believe it, and from what I heard at the time neither could Murdoch.

And from that poor start things went rapidly downhill where McKinnon and Morton were concerned………..

Most of us would still welcome Andy Murdoch back with open arms, even after “that” tackle yesterday.

Ray McKinnon, though? Not so much.

It quite clearly isn't, unless you're a moron with no concept of time or opportunity cost - as there was in fact a quite straightforward alternative set of choices that could have been made.

Your desperation to shut down debate is as hilarious as your 'move on from the past' line - given the complete arse of yourself you have made with your boomer recollections on another thread in this very forum.

😂😂😂 Keep up the personal abuse, virginchops - it gives me the occasional smile and keeps you away from SELF- abuse for a little while - but do try to freshen up the patter a bit, it's getting very very stale.

Tell me this, though - since when did simply expressing an opinion on here qualify as "desperation"?  The correct answer, of course, is "never", apart from in your tiny mind. Swing and a miss, chump.

The Strapp debate has been done to death on here over the last few months. Now he's gone, whether we like it or whether we don't, and the last thing I want to see is every new signing*  greeted on here with "meh, he's okay but he's no Lewis Strapp".

Looks like that's what's likely to happen though.

    * - bar Grimshaw, God willing.

I’m not sure what to believe anymore.

A Morten fan old enough to remember when they last played in a major domestic final but never actually went. 😂

Yet lived in a house in Inverclyde with a working TV back in 1963.

Had a look on YouTube for the highlights from Scotsport or Sportscene but couldn’t find anything sadly. Maybe you could dig out the footage.

I remember the moon landings but unfortunately couldn’t get the time off to go as I had my paper round to do.

What was your excuse for not going?

    Didn't need one.

What's your excuse for being a tedious c*nt?

    It's not pointless at all.

It's fair to compare our current left back to the former.

There’s no future in the past, mate. It’s about as relevant a comparison as comparing the current squad, such as it currently is, to the squads of MacPherson’s time, Duffy’s time, Moore’s time or whoever you want to choose.

Pointless comparisons which gain us absolutely nothing in the here and now. I liked Strapp, but he’s left the club (whatever the reason) so let’s move on.

Ok, imagine I'm saying this really slowly and enunciating all of the words in an exaggerated way for you.

You claimed that you had seen Greenock Morton in a cup final.

You clarified that you didn't mean the "Diddy cup" for lower league teams.

Therefore you could only be referring to the league cup final 60 years ago.

I expressed surprise as it would likely make you in at least your 70s, if not 80s.

You tried to be a pedant like the other Morton fan who is a better pedant than you and claimed that you could have been as young as 3 when you attended the league cup final 60 years ago as that would be feasible based on your apparent Plato esque musings on human recollection. Your whataboutery regarding the specifics of these numbers has now rolled on for most of a page.

Ergo, I believe only one of two things are conceivable given this set of facts

    They are:

    1. You are a man or woman aged somewhere between 63 (assuming your dubious assertions are taken at face value in this instance) and 116 (the age of the current oldest human) who spends countless hours badly and endlessly trolling people on a Scottish football forum. If this is the case then you are pretty tragic and should really have a wee look in the mirror and reconsider that your time in the sunset of your life could and should be better spent

    Or

    2. You're a lying, attention seeking scrotum of a laddie who has never seen Morton in a major final, hence the smelling shite aside.

One of the two seems infinity more likely.

    Hope that helped sweetie. X

😁 wow, what a load of guff. And you’ve got it wrong, wrong and wrong yet again.

Read my post again, but more S-L-O-W-L-Y and carefully this time - I didn’t claim to be as young as three at the time of the season 63/64 league cup final. Nor did I claim to have attended it, just that I could remember it.  And I can. Believe it or not, there was plenty of live radio coverage plus TV highlights back then.

Why not just admit that your  arithmetic was woefully out in the first place and be done with it, instead of digging yourself a deeper hole with all this floundering and mouth music?

And what about this cup final appearance that you claim never actually happened?  Still waiting for you to clarify.

    In your own time…….
