Morton fans making a late year comeback to wrestle the "Falkirk fans of the Championship forum" title back from their Ayr counterparts right at the death. Congratulations-ish
going by your strapline you probably thought that sounded quite smart, in your head. In reality, though, I doubt if anyone reading it will either know or give one solitary f**k what in hell you’re on about.
And you’re welcome…..ish.

Ah come on now. That zoom lens is doing a lot of heavy lifting and the scenery isn't even on the same side of the river.
See, that’s the thing about nice scenery. To appreciate the view you have to be a wee bit away from it.
Plus, Greenock itself looks pretty good in the foreground.

To be fair, no sign of the Airdrie Klu Klux Klan outfits from about 20 years ago. Which were actually quite funny.

you're all spouting absolute garbage in favour of the wonderful Dougie Imrie. Take a step back and look at his management style, brilliant in respect of his impact on our prospects of promotion, but absolutely flawless in his policy on academy players? Come on FFS what specs are you guys wearing?
Nobody’s saying he’s the perfect manager, and there are times when he’s seemed very reluctant to change his stance on certain issues, but he’s the man in charge and he’ll stand or fall based on the decisions he makes, whether we all agree or disagree with him. So far he’s done very well overall; not much he could do about our early season injury crisis.
Whether or not we agree with YOUR opinions is an entirely different matter. You appear to think we’re all simply biased in Imrie’s favour; most of us though are level-headed enough to make our own judgements on his performance - and on the “evidence” you’re pinning your argument on.

Strapp says he has now been informed that he isn’t a part of Ton chief Dougie Imrie’s long term plans.
Strapp exclusively told the Tele: “I’ve found out that I'll not be involved in the gaffer’s plans for next year, which I just need to take in my stride now.
“I’ve got something concrete now that it’s time to shake hands and move on.
"I’ve been here for over ten years, the club’s all I've known so who knows, maybe having a new test, new surroundings might not be the worst thing for me in the long run.
"If I'm not in his plans or what he wants from the team then so be it."
I assume this is a quote from a months-old "Tele" article. If so you should be quoting it as such right from the start.

A word of genuine advice mate:
That hole you're in is already pretty deep. Just stop digging, FFS........

Ms Dempster sacking Owen Coyle. Marjyn Beuker turning out to be a Pratt.
Was Coyle sacked? I didn’t pay much attention to QP at the time, but I thought he left by his own choice.

Who said they want Dougie out?
Well, you ain’t a big fan, for a start.
And then there’s BranchTon, but that seems to be largely because he hates Dougie's tattoos.
I can’t be arsed digging through posts for the others.
So, there’s you.

Could this be a 'Taxi for Doogie' game?
Well, there’s your answer. The ‘new manager bounce’ deflated.

.....and in the last two hours we've gone from bottom to the dizzy heights of seventh.
Satisfying.

Several Morton fans read that same article and came on here with similar opinions to myself. Why would I choose to dress something up when it spoke for itself?
You’re totally ignoring the fact that Strapp was given training facilities with the squad at the start of the season.
Wouldn't have happened if Imrie had it in for him as you keep insisting.
.
You’re flogging a dead one here. Let it rest, ffs.

Some Morton supporters need to remind themselves of the 'self-fulfilling prophecy'. If you keep banging on saying "We'll lose, we'll get pumped, we're shite" etc. etc. etc. - so shall it come to pass. Me? I'm full of joy, hope and eternal optimism.
You're full of something all right.....

Surely Morton fans don’t still class St mirren as rivals?
Hate to burst yer bubble mate (well, not really, tbh) but personally I never give your lot a moment’s thought unless we’re due to play each other (so, not very often then).
Has to be some benefit to being down here…..

The game's been called off for the sole reason that Inverness asked for it because they had injuries.
How would you know that?
And why, as per Morton's statement, would the police have backed them up on that??
C'mon, get real.......
Game's aff, get over it, it's a beautiful day in Inverclyde, get out and enjoy it. More to Saturdays than just fitba'.

The only thing you need to worry about is the way they foul you at every opportunity and if you have a totally incompetent ref like we had they’ll get away with it all day long. They never looked like they could score against us even when we were wrongly down to ten men.
You have to be trolling here, right??
The sending off has already been agreed to have been the correct decision by almost all who’ve commented on it on here.
As for the rest, the BBC stats indicate a pretty close game….. but wait, what’s that? Down at the bottom there……… United 15 fouls (fifteen), and Morton a mere 12 ?? And yet, have our fans been bleating about this obvious strongarm approach from the home team?? Maybe we should have been…….
Meanwhile, you’ve shown yourself up to be a complete and utter fanny. Go stand in the corner till Saturday.

Very strange……
I wasn’t there yesterday, but I’ve just watched United’s 8 minute highlights package and I didn’t see any examples of the “dark arts” from Morton that Granny Danger and Pull My Strings have been wetting their knickers over. I DID see one incident clearly deserving of a red card, but funnily enough that was from a United player.
Seems to me that GD & PMS (how fitting is that abbreviation?) are just bad losers. Even when they haven’t actually lost.
What a wee shame that is.

And rolling around on the ground pretending to have been hit.
