  1. Next score massive now.
  2. Ha ha, guys absolutely fucking gutted! The hopeful "has he overdone it" from Russell's kick, to announcing the try like a death in the family.
  3. That was a pen, the Italian prop was entirely deliberate in all of that.
  4. Wonder who the commentators want to win?
  5. f**k. That's a good try, well executed, but left way too much space in behind.
  6. Some fucking good carries from both teams. This could be a belter.
  7. Yeah, that looked out to me. Is it too far back to check it?
  8. Totally agree. He's just not sexy enough for a much bigger move, he's not the bright young thing, he's not won anything, he's not been a headline. He's a brilliant St Mirren level manager, but he's a bit like Tommy Wright was for St Johnstone, he's just not on the radar of many much bigger clubs. He's basically the managerial equivalent of Gogic. We love him, and are all worried he will leave, but realistically, the only place he's going is a similar club who are willing to pay him more money.
  9. At St Mirren we give them till about their third touch of the ball.
  10. Ha ha, probably not, but honestly, at the time when it went to Var suddenly an army of stewards appeared to line up along the side of W7 and the Aberdeen end, with the ref giving the pen as soon as they were in position. It's probably just coincidence as they do it most games at the end, but the timing was good for a wee conspiracy theory.
  11. My theory is they actually called it straight away (it was very obvious) but they were waiting for the stewards to get in place before awarding it.
  12. Winning goal is so fucking good from Toyosi. It's him that wins the ball in our half to set off the counter attack, burst a gut to get into the box and finished it beautifully. McMenamin and Mandron both brilliant in the build up as well. Some of the Warnock post game stuff is brilliant. Big fan of him insisting it wasn't a penalty and whining about how cold he was during the check.
  13. It's always more satisfying when the team left so utterly broken at the end absolutely deserve it. No sympathy, not even a pang, just an absolutely glorious get it up you.
  14. The Toyosi redemption arc, just lovely stuff. To think there were still guys talking about punting him in January. 4 points he's won us in the last two games
  15. Edinburgh are such a disaster of a team. So unbelievably less than the sum of their parts.
  16. See Hogg is back in the papers today. Sounds like he turned up outside his wife's house steaming after the Calcutta cup game and started shouting the odds. He's such a w**k, I imagine his TV career might not last as long as he expected if he keeps this up.
  17. The South America tour if it goes ahead looks like a good one tbf. I'm expecting a good few of the big names will be given the summer off, especially the ones who play abroad, and it will be a mix of the better youngsters and some of the more fringe players. Got a few guys might be returning from injury as well, like Johnny Gray.
  18. I liked this as well, especially agree with you on the strengths of the game and how decent the story is. My big gripe is how the combat really started to drag towards the end. Just wave after wave of the exact same fight over and over again, kind of meant I couldn't wait to get it finished by the end, which is a bit of a shame. Dunno if you thought the same?
  19. To be fair, VAR did stop the seething weirdos in charge of the Dundee game from chopping off Olusanya's goal. And it also forced them to give at least one goal that was a meer 3 feet over the line this season that they weren't going to give either. Apart from that though it's done us very few favours.
  20. Yes, they genuinely think it's different when they do it. They also keep going on about how the residency rules need looked at, whilst insinuating it's those that Scotland are "exploiting" but never address the point that the only residency players that regularly play for Scotland are DVM, Schoeman and a nearly retired WP Nel. All big losses, but not insurmountable. It's not as if there is a big raft of recently retired/dropped ones. The vast majority of our "born or raised abroad" group they like to talk about were born or raised in England, to Scottish parents who were there for work. Funnily enough, a few of England's born abroad guys are the same the other way, born in Scotland. That's the UK in 2024 lads, time to get used to it.
  21. Another thing about Toyosi I'm liking this season is he's finishing these one on ones. He's about the only striker we've had in ages I'd really back to score in that position.
  22. Luck hasn't half been with France this tournament. Should be on zero wins.
  23. Maybe I'm just paranoid and jaded by the whole thing, but if I see O'Mahoney doing that in a few weeks to Russell I'm not even confident it'll be yellow.
