I have to disagree to be honest with you. Whilst I fully agree that Govanhill isn't the most attractive area, and is a shithole to be fair, the two things that make the press coverage for there different to the press coverage of every other shithole in the West of Scotland is the high level of immigration, particularly from the EU, and the fact Sturgeon is the MSP. If the same square mile of squalor was in a Labour constituency with mostly white Scottish residents it would never get mentioned. We know this because there are loads of them that never get mentioned.

That and the fact a lot of immigrants live there. It all combines to cause massive amounts of "concern" from a certain type.

I don't really understand the vitriol towards Edwards to be honest. He's not great, but he was an honest trier who did his best, yet he seems to get a lot of stick. The way people go on you'd think he was one of the worst players we've ever had. I personally wouldn't even have him in the top ten worst players to play for St Mirren this season.

I'm not sure McShane is a good signing for Falkirk at all to be honest. He's an ok player, but can see him disappearing in a struggling side without better players around him.

Credit should go to Kearney. We have the worst squad in the league, by a mile, yet we are still not bottom and in with a chance of staying up.

Im pretty shocked we are still in it as well to be honest, and I suppose the credit mostly has to go to Kearney who was dealt a pretty bad hand. Whilst none of Ferdinand, Hammill or Jackson haven't exactly been worldbeaters, I dread to think where we would have been without them. This break is now huge for us. This, the English media keep telling us how amazing Exeter are. I'm really yet to see it tbh. Hogg will be good for them Hogg will give them something they look like they are missing tonight anyway. They look very limited in the backs. They can rumble it over (eventually) from two yards, but they didn't show much beyond that. Any Pro 14 team would love to get one of these two in the next round.

Gloucester v Exeter looks like an utter shitfest from what I've seen. Conditions aren't that bad either, just both teams look very limited. You can see why they struggle in this competition.

The only surprising picks there to be fair are Ashe, George Horne and maybe Rae being rested. I suppose the continued absence of Dunbar as well. Niko and McDowell have earned a shot, just as Grigg and P. Horne did last week and Brown is injured. The other guys coming in, Swinson, Price, Jones and Wilson aren't exactly second string. The only guy that worries me a bit in that side Halanokonuka. I think he's a penalty machine and a card waiting to happen.

Does it make much difference to Glasgow if Saracens beat Cardiff twice? I guess it would be better if Cardiff denied them the bonus points, but we'd need to win at Saracens either way to win the group I expect?
