  1. I highly advise spending/cashing out your original investment once you have made decent profits. It means that no matter what happens to these crazy markets in future you can always feel comfy that you are 'up'
  2. Hi Gents, just strolling by and noticed it was a Bitcoin All Time High day again today. Happy Bitcoin All time high day.
  3. It's purely used for rubbing it in the faces of no-coiners to see how worthless their state backed currencies are becoming. A literal misspelled dog coin is appreciating against the worthless military backed poop.
  4. Happy Bitcoin All Time High Price day everyone!
  5. Congratulations to those of you who bought Bitcoin and Ethereum outside of the Spring and Winter of 2021 because you are now in profit. Shame on those in this thread who denied other peoples financial wellbeing by proposing that the British Pound was a better option.
  6. Why did you make this post calling Bitcoin a scam? I sold all my crypto because of it and Bitcoin is now 3 times the price of that day. I shouldn't have believed you
  7. I can't believe idiots are still spending money on Bitcoin when they could hold Penguin NFT's instead. Pudgy Penguins now 18 ETH.
  8. I love the Scam Advertisements on Twitter with the community note below it identifying it as a scam. So Twitter will take the money from the scams, allow them to still advertise and create more victims, but then label them as a scam..... seems problematic
  9. Looks like it is going to be a Merry Christmas for cryptocurrency holders. Congratulations everyone and have a lovely time!
  10. No unfortunately my yield farming days are behind me, I just use Aave, Curve and Synthetix (contracts that have lasted a long time on Ethereum therefore have more reliable security) these days. Even though it means less airdrops and yield, its just naturally what happens after being through a few cycles. I wouldn't be surprised if by next cycle I am only exposed to ETH. I did get a Lil Pudgy though a while back which is a nice little airdrop currently 1 ETH How are you getting on? You probably do more crypto researching than me these days, what are the main trends you are noticing?
  11. Now 11 ETH Floor. £18,960 for a cartoon penguin in an NFT bear market.
  12. Once again cryptocurrency showing it is the most traceable form of 'currency'. Well done crypto for stopping these criminals.
  13. Oh shit haha. I'm not going to delete it. I did say I was "all in Chainlink" though. So lets look at that increase.
  14. I'm not going to whip out tax returns and bank statements, but the evidence is in this thread below. I posted about Ethereum and Chainlink on 10th of may 2018. See the image below for the price of Ethereum then and now highlighted.
  15. Its number 1 for me. I've already 'cashed out' more than my original investment and I still have multiples kept as crypto which I will dig into when I need it treating it like a bank account. Also I posted on November 15th last year in this very thread, that was around the low of this cycle. So your last line isn't correct. I certainly don't make money by talking about how wonderful Bitcoin is. Currently I own no Bitcoin (I do own WBTC on Ethereum). I'm always happy to talk about crypto
  16. Most of it is 'funny money', some of it isn't. I'm certainly laughing at how much funny money has changed my life for the positive that is for sure.
  17. But you do realise the difference between all those options? Binance is basically now (with the recent news) under the thumb of the US Government who can make anything happen to your funds. Many exchanges in crypto have disappeared instantly in the past (FTX, Mount GOX). What happens if a bank run on Binance started next week? We already know they just had to stump up 4 billion USD to the US government it would be a tough time to survive a bank run. Metamask is fine as long as you are internet sensible and don't click to strange websites and download weird things on the same computer/phone you use. If you added a hardware wallet to this you would be boosting your security but as you say it is a faff. Farms/pools you are adding protocol risk into the equation. For example one of the most established pools on Curve got hacked last year. I would say a mix of these with the majority on Metamask/hardware wallets are the safest.
  18. It really is ridiculous if you are in crypto and you keep your crypto in an exchange instead of keeping it on chain. Not your keys not your coins. The whole point of crypto is to minimize trust, why are people then trusting an unregulated entity?
  19. That second number isn't correct. It looks like you used USD as your price from 1 year ago and possibly GBP as your current price? The current price of BTC is 37300 USD Maybe people with money in traditional banking wouldn't understand that this isn't a fair comparison?
  20. Maybe but could easily be a 'sell the news' event in the short term. Blackrock have applied for an ETH ETF. Also plenty of people are saying that Gary Gensler can basically veto any of these if he feels like it.
  21. Those scammers have lost 39% of their money invested in Bitcoin. They sure were a bit dopey buying the High prices. What they should do is buy the low prices.
