Treat yourself to their 18 year old glen Marnoch, 30 quid a bottle but it's one of my favourites. They also have another 3 varieties of glen Marnoch single malts on limited release at 17.99. Haven't tried it yet but they flew off the shelves when I went back next day to buy another. Haven't tried their highland black, will get round to it once I've cleared some room. Anyone tried the whisky from Lidl, any recommendations?

What's the best blend there? Being a bit of a snob I stick to single malts although I occasionally have a bottle of chivas Regal; what's your blend?

You're probably right, but nothing ventured and all that. I'm into a bottle of tomartin legacy just now so will crack open the glen Marnoch at new years and report back.

Has anyone tried the 18 year old glen Marnoch single malt currently in Aldi? Bought a bottle at the weekend for £30. There's also a 24 year old at £50 although a quick Google search in the aisle didn't rate the 24 year old.

Can anyone explain why there are five stars around the badge on sevcos top tonight? I assume they must satisfy the authorties and are perfectly entitled to display them? So, history intact and debt free. Well played charlie, well played.....................

I feel like I'm the only non-rangers fan who hasn't been conned. See the current incumbents at ibrox, rangers, sevco, therangers, whatever you want to call them, are they accredited with any footballing honours? If they are then guess what, they are rangers and have just wrote off x amount of millions and are debt free laughing at us. If they have no honours and are indeed a new club starting from scratch then I apologise but please provide the evidence so I can sleep easy.

What I'm saying is that if the team that currently reside at ibrox play in rangers strips, have the rangers crest, have the official rangers history then i have a sneaky feeling they (sevco) have pulled off a very successful con.

SO WHY THE f**k DO THEY PLAY AT IBROX, WEAR A RANGERS STRIP, USE RANGERS CRESTS AND LOGOS, HAVE THE HISTORY OF RANGERS why can't people see that sevco have pulled off the biggest con in world football. Say what you like but the team currently playing at ibrox is rangers. It's a disgrace.

I wish it were the case but think you are mistaken unless you have any evidence that they are starting from scratch. I fear the official record books shows the past achievements of rangers is intact with sevco. Would love to be proved wrong.

Yeah I had one of these last week, could only manage half of it before throwing in the towel. Sweat pouring outta every pore in my face! I'm betting your other one will sit in the freezer for weeks till the memory of the ring sting you are about to experience subsides.
