I'm incredibly biased as well, naturally there's an anti-Raith aspect but I've always felt he comes across as an arse particularly in interviews. When he's not delivering nippy sweeties to the interviewer, he's describing a different game than I've watched to make it seem better on his own team. Now loads of managers do this, but I'm also not a fan of his touchline behaviour also, he's perpetually moaning and giving the 4th official pelters. St Johnstone are a perfect example of what can be done. As other clubs chairmen have stated "we can't all be next to a crematorium" however that's not their only asset, they have all the above. Many years ago now Raith were offered the chance to build a new ground on what is now Randolph pitches. The council offered funding but this was turned down. I'm sure Penman wanted to build a stadium on the open cast ground across the road from the Randolph but this fell apart for various reasons only a few know. Say no more on that one

Regarding the fitness promotion,this is yet another example of the fans in South stand are the be all and end all of Raith. There is never any such initiatives advertised in or around the main stand. My age and waist line mean I don't qualify so I am complaining from a position that doesn't affect me However even our fans rep on the board has forgotten his pledge at the hustings to meet fans from all parts of the ground and mentioned main stand. He was the only candidate to tear himself away from trying to impress the south stand fans The only time he's visible now is when he and his missus takes their seats in the directors box The new lady fans rep is no better. I understand we need fans of the next generation to fill the south stand but don't forget that although the main stand has fans mainly of an older generation they have been through much more trials and tribulations of the majority on this forum

There are stats somewhere that I read a few years ago that Raith have scored more goals at the railway end. No reason to assume that stat has changed. 2016/17 season missed sitter against Hearts. The goal that never was against QoS. Player of the year gives away 2 goals in play off.
