Got my handicap at the weekend (21, god knows how) Considering playing the saturday medal this week, but no idea how it works.. can book a tee time on howdidido and then i think its a fiver to play in the medal, anyone a member at falkirk and can clarify this for me?

Anybody able to clarify something. Me and my mates are all members at falkirk and we almost always play a fourball. Only one of us has got a handicap,so does that mean that he can only mark one of our cards for handicap purposes?

What happened to this p&b golf day, sounded like a great day, would love to get out and meet everyone off here and have a laugh( while admittedly probably finishing last) Also, anyone know of any opens in the next few weeks, that one at greenock sounded decent, just a shame I missed it

Was just flicking through this bored at work. Always enjoyed a game of golf, playing with ancient clubs, but gonna get a new set for my birthday in August. Caught the golf bug and got my membership at Falkirk today after lots of rounds with my mates up there, 28 quid a month for ten months isnt bad! Gaz, you still playing up at falkirk?

Got a selection event at work next week to become a trainer. Need to make a 5 minute presentation on a subject of my choice. Not an issue as I can talk pish all day long, but i've no idea for a subject, want it to be something interesting and people to leave thinking that it was interesting and they've learned something. Anyone got any ideas?

right, was talking to my mates the other day about childhood memories. Was reminiscing on a daft game thing i had in my room, it was basically a wee goal thing that you stuck to your wall that had a keeper attached to it, came with a tiny wee foam football and you had to try and score, pretty sure michael owen was in the adverts for it. Was great fun when i was younger, and i'm sure I spent hours battering a ball off my bedroom wall, but I can't remember the name of it. Anyone know what i'm on about?

Supported England from up here for a good 5/6 years now, can remember Finn bursting onto the scene, taking wickets and generally terrifying batsmen with pace and bounce. Absolutely delighted that he's been given another chance in the side, and hoping he can continue to bowl like this and cement a place.

Wouldn't even consider it, since I started a couple of months ago, i've made my way through the out of the mouth of babes thread, a few others I can't remember, and p&b gold, fc pro vercelli was a great thread, but the best/worst date offers was comedy gold, that utter clown hibernia making a complete arse of himself still makes me laugh now.

Currently working in a call centre, and there's always a good 5-10 minutes between calls. My question is this, is it bad that since the start of the week i've read the first 160 pages of this thread, and I intend to just keep going till i reach the end? only 546 to go! tbh though, cracking thread with some great banter.
