The big thing for me is no one seems to ask these advisors or politicians why. Why do we have to continue social distancing and wearing masks when we are all vaccinated? Why do restrictions have to continue when there are only 67 people in hospital with COVID? Why can we not speed up the opening up process? Why are fans not allowed back in stadiums for the last few weeks of the season when numbers are so low?

Even those who are in their 30s and 40s who are at risk from this virus due to underlying health conditions have been vaccinated. [emoji23] She is an absolute walloper.

The statements/apologies from these clubs are hollow and meaningless. If these owners felt they could still get away with going through with this, they would.

Listening to Mark Drakeford this morning was fucking depressing. Social distancing for the rest of 2021 will cost millions of people in the UK their jobs. Also if everyone is everyone is vaccinated by the end of Summer, it’s not going to get any better than that so at what stage do we stop social distancing. The media never seem to ask this.

If you’re really wanting to get out of South Ayrshire, just do it. The police won’t stop you and if they did just come up with a decent excuse.

With the way numbers (vaccination, hospital, ICU, death) are going just now, we should be pushing for full stadiums by June. Then everyone in the SSC and everyone who got a ticket through the ballot can go. Easy.

Do these ‘experts’ understand the implication of what they are saying? Never mind not being able to do so many of the things we enjoy doing, this will leave millions of people jobless and their families struggling badly when support is stopped. Meanwhile they will be able to continue with their careers. I’m really trying to get my head round if they know this is what will happen.

I think most people said it was only deaths and hospitalisations that mattered after the vulnerable had been vaccinated.

I completely agree. I said this a few weeks ago but there are still over 3 months until these games. There’s going to be hardly anyone in hospital and the prevalence of the virus will be so low by this point, it’s going to be ridiculous when these games are moved somewhere else or there are 300 fans allowed in to the stadium.
