  1. Thanks, appreciate the reply. I’ve been looking at possibly flying to Strasbourg or Zurich from Glasgow, Birmingham or Manchester which I can get for just over £200 then getting the train from there to Stuttgart.
  2. Is there anyone only travelling over for the Hungary game? If we had qualified for France 2016, I would be over for as long as were in the tournament but now mid 30s and 2 young kids complicates things. I’ve got a ticket for the Hungary game. Just trying to keep travel and accommodation as cheap as possible. I don’t want to miss out on experiencing this.
  3. Has anyone had experience with CBT? I've had issues with my mental health, particularly in the past year and have been offered medication but went down the CBT route. I've had 6 therapy sessions and have found it very helpful and can feel a big difference.
  4. It’s not really fair to compare Steve Clarke’s 3 years in charge to the last 10 years of Ireland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
  5. The last 2 Summers have been disappointing, not horrific. At least we were in the position for them to be disappointing with our last qualification in 1998 and our last play off in 2003.
  6. Do excess deaths not fluctuate all of the time? That is why they work out a five year average.
  7. Enjoy reading this thread as I’ve been meaning to stop drinking for some time now. I can go weeks without a drink and can have only 2 or 3 drinks in the house but as soon as I go a night out with my mates, I end up a mess. I always blackout and can barely remember anything after the first few drinks. Promised myself this year wouldn’t be like that but arranged a night out with my mates a couple of weeks ago. I said to myself I would have some non alcoholic beers but ended up pished. Was working the next day and had a horrible hangover. I’m not usually one to feel depressed except after a big night out. I’ve decided to stop for February then take it from there. It’s not worth it anymore and I’ve stopped enjoying it. I’ve got 2 young kids now and they are my priority. I’ve also got a job with a lot of responsibility that I’m good at and want to progress in.
  8. It misses the point that facial expressions are very important for social interaction therefore masks should never be normalised.
  9. Starting to think the Ukraine game in March won’t be at full capacity which will be a real gutter.
  10. Hopefully someone can tell me I’m wrong but I just get the feeling this could be the “new normal”. Testing, self isolating, wearing masks, vaccine passports, hardly anyone going abroad.
  11. Some might say better the Devi you know….
  12. 13 still seems pretty low to me in a country of 5.5 million. Hospital numbers down and ‘case’ numbers coming down as well.
  13. Covid in Scotland: Family's plea to allow dying father to see expat daughter https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-57866679 Makes me angry that our ‘rules’ have come to this.
  14. It’s for yours and everyone’s safety. You’re welcome. Jason x
  15. There’s basically no one dying from Coronavirus in Scotland now. It’s just so crazy the restrictions we are still under, especially Glasgow and Moray.
  16. Farce is the perfect word. Complete and utter farce.
  17. Someone with more knowledge than me can tell me if this right but if viruses become transmissible, do they not become less deadly? I don’t hear anyone mentioning this.
  18. 4 folk in intensive care. This is basically over now.
  19. Nonsense. It doesn’t actually state in these articles how many tested positive from being at these celebrations.
  20. I agree completely but there’s no chance this is happening now.
  21. Why would you take a voluntary test when you are on holiday and run the risk of having to self isolate? Seems like another ridiculous plan.
  22. It says in this report that many of the cases are asymptomatic so some jobs in Moray will not be allowed to get started again because people are not feeling unwell, hospitals are not overwhelmed and people are not dying. Absolute headcases.
  23. A major issue with the daily briefings was that the journalists were allowed one question then they moved on. There was no debate. The politician or advisors answer was final and we were supposed to take that as gospel.
