Final word from me on the goalkeeper situation. For me the main issue is not which keeper is better, they are both bang average but the fact that our manager thinks that it is a good idea to rotate them the way he has been. Quite ridiculous and as has been stated several times more in line with a poor pub team not a professional football club. Really bad management in my view.

In which case we should have thanked Long for his efforts and wished him a safe journey back to Lincoln.

I actually think we hammered them in the first half without making it count obviously. Second half much more sluggish but still comfortable until the nonsense at the end.

As you know not hugely impressed by either keeper but Hogarth didn’t deserve to be dropped and he is our player. Play him to the end of the season (or until he has a horrendous game) and stop making unnecessary changes.

Resting players carrying knocks is not squad rotation it’s common sense. Fannying around with the team such as at Edinburgh is and really should be avoided.
