Cox is not offside. I was right in line with it at the time and the boy on the far side was playing him on and that clip, while inconclusive, looks to back it up.

That’s what our coaching staff said so they were presumably told this by an official right after it happened.

I only caught the second half and the game was (just about) over pretty quickly. However we got a goal back (about 5 yards onside) and Jordan Allan had a chance to get another back. The sending off was the other side of the pitch to me but I did hear someone say that 2 Cove players admitted Cox did nothing. Absolute zoomers in that stand at Cove. You wonder if these people have ever been to football in their life. Still an abysmal place to watch football. Truly awful.

So you are saying that supporting Cove is more appealing than Aberdeen as Aberdeen don't have a rival? Do you know how crazy that sounds. Not to mention that Cove represent a specific area of Aberdeen (one which will have many rivalries) so you are far more unlikely to get people from Bridge of Don and Tillydrone supporting them. Edinburgh City don't have that issue as they are not geographically tied. Neglected that massive point to fit in with your weird point though.

What a load of utter shite and really weird at the same time. 1. Aberdeen are consistently challenging for things. Numerous cup finals/semi finals and European places prove this. 2. Wtf are you on about talking about an Edinburgh derby. What relevance does this have to anything? What are Edinburgh struggling with? You cant say "Aberdeen fans will go support Cove but Hearts and Hibs fans wont go support Edinburgh City as they have a derby". What an absurd point. 3. Another strange and completely hypothetical point. Irrelevant too. Cove are one of the most disliked teams in the NoS as well but you neglected that. 4. The home ground and location is abysmal for football. Potentially the worst in the SPFL. Maybe, just maybe, Cove are getting good crowds as it is their first season in the league, they are flying and scoring a lot of goals with a lot of household names playing. In 3 years time when they are mid-table in League 2 and the novelty has worn out and they are averaging 300 you come back to us.

Aird will have been on a massive wave as well. Guys like Masson and Redman will be on pretty good wages too but not eye watering. I agree with some of what you say though. I don’t think the difference in waves between them and Edinburgh will be that great.

While you may be right what’s the basis behind them both scoring loads in L1? I read RM has 4 goals this season, not sure if any are penalties. MM has struggled at that level previously as well. A 33 year old, completely uninterested Rory McAllister playing at a level he doesn’t stroll isn’t exactly mouthwatering. He will end up at Cove on about £600 a week though and more fool them.

I’m not an Aberdeen fan. Yes I’m referring to his pre Aberdeen career. He’s never been an injury prone player which may say something about the training/care he’s getting at Aberdeen.

We are a better side without Kris but that’s not Kris’s fault. When he’s in the side we seen to just go more direct. A midfield 3 of Buchanan, Miller and Herd doesn’t have a lot of guile but will work hard. Really will be up to the front 2 to get us goals.
