Can't believe the stick Sneddon's getting. Seems harsh. Having watched goals back, not sure what more he could've have done to prevent first. Moved feet well and was at full stretch and still got nowhere near it. Should more be asking why was Shankland was completely unmarked. For second, he's deceived by Pawlett's scuff and can't recover in time to prevent it creeping in. Mcginty allows Pawlett to get in front of him.

Not sure Alloa fans should be quite so cocky. They failed to beat a Thistle side in complete disarray. Sneddon never had a save to make and your only goal was a wickedly deflected shot. For all the pretty possession play and rampaging unchallenged runs through a non-existent Thistle midfield, it all came to nothing in the final third.

Jesus, I admire your patience but I've lost count now of the amount of times this absolute tactical genius has failed to to get our starting eleven and tactics correct. I no nothing about football but surely v Alloa you play lots of width and pull them about all over the place but we insisted on trying to play through the middle which Alloa lapped up. Constantly correcting your mistakes doesn't make you a great manager.

What's the point in signing a keeper who 'underwhelmed' at Falkirk? Feel a bit sorry for Lennox. Just worked his way back from injury and looks to have been disregarded by Caldwell who hasn't even seen him play. Lennox and Sneddon could've fought it out. Waste of a loan.

Never seen him play but he's younger and with a lot less SPFL experience than Sneddon. Don't get it.

Why tho? Is it just because Naismith doesn't have the high profile of a Neilson, say, who did well as part of a partnership with Levein at Hearts, but that's it.

He's not out of work and may not even be interested but isn't Gary Naismith a good fit? Done well with East Fife and QOTS. No failures on his record. Still young and played at a high level. Just seems to go about his business in a quiet and dignified manner. May well be looking for a new challenge.

Why? A Levein puppet, who when sent out to the big wide world of football management, crashed and burned. Why is he so highly rated?

Am I missing something re Neilson? Yes, he did a good job at Hearts but was given more than a helping hand by Levein. He then didn't do very well at MK Dons. Not the most impressive CV. Not the nicest bloke you'll meet either, apparently.

Don't get me wrong, Bell does look fine and should be pretty solid. However, young he may be, but don't forget, Sneddon was on the bench for cowdenbeathn in the Championship aged 17 at Ibrox, Easter Rd and Tynecastle and went on to play almost 40 1st team games at League 1 and 2 level. A lot more experience than most 'youngsters'
