There's genuinely a case to be made that Ross MacIver has been our most important player in our system this season.

I think I have to give it to Morrison Vs Montrose because that's the first time the team proved themselves as having a league winning mentality. He'll win the award, but really that goal encapsulated the spirit of the team.

I've got that much faith in McGlynn's recruitment that he could just about sign anyone and I'd say fair enough.
And for what it's worth I do think McKenna is a good player.

What makes this title and season so special is it has been the result of everyone pulling together. Management for building the team, players for performing on the pitch, Board and staff for delivering behind the scenes, FSS/Patrons members for putting the fans in charge and funding the project, Ultras1876 for lifting the whole fanbase in the stands.
Really something to be proud of.

2) We have to find a way to keep Dylan Tait next season. Somehow. Anyhow.
It was FSS contributions that got him in the first place, I'd wager the best chance of keeping him will be FSS contributions again.

Possibly just the champions tinted haze I'm in at the moment, but thought the hospitality from the town and the club yesterday was brilliant. It added to the already special day.
Hope you do come up in the playoffs because it's a fantastic away day.

At full time I thought I couldn't love this team anymore than I already did, but last night in Behind The Wall took it to a whole new level. I genuinely love each and every one of them.

For anyone connected to the FSS, has there been a significant number of members now transferred to the new payment(s) ?
For anyone going to Montrose;

Not significant enough. Still 300 odd members paying through PayPal.
It's not a massive issue so long as members switch before their 2 years PayPal subs expire. To date I think we have seen approximately 20 members drop off after failing to switch and that will only increase every month until November 2025 when the final PayPal sub expires.

In that case if Raith offered him a deal in theory we’d be due them some form of compensation which probably rules him out as a signing, I don’t think he has anything on the table from them however.
I think any new contract from Raith would have to equal his current to trigger compensation too. Given Raith fans seem to think he was a higher earner I don't see that happening.

MacIver's assist yesterday now means that the front 3 all have at least 20 G+A. Nesbitt just 4 short too.

There is nothing about this club that I am not completely in love with.

FSS Bairns Survey is live.
Really important to engage with it because as it will help set the priorities for the Committee to work towards over the summer and into the next season.

Got any radar charts for us?

It's been a few weeks since I've checked the spreadsheet, but the FSS cumulative MOTM votes have 5 players all within a few hundred votes at the top.

Loving the way we just find a way to win!

With regards to an increase in the season ticket price and FSS membership, I always think that fans should have to opt out rather than opt in. A joint form sent out to all season ticket holders that would hopefully encourage them to sign up to the FSS and/or pay an increase in their ticket book price.
If you don't want to pay the increase in your season ticket price, please place a tick in the box
If you don't want your bank account to be automatically debited 10 pounds per month for FSS membership, please place a tick in the box

I like the rotation. Football is a squad game. Not giving more of the squad a run risks them being rustier or disengaged when injuries or suspensions happen.
Case in point - Tam got injured, we could move Hendo knowing Tait could step in, and didn’t he do well. Similarly if Cal needs a rest after a couple of kickings this week, Ross is more likely to be match-fit. And Mackie has done well - can’t argue with two assists.
As for the keepers, much of a muchness and tbh I think the concerns, while not unjustified, are a bit exaggerated. All about opinions etc, though I do trust McGlynn’s more than most.
I think folk are a bit scarred by Edinburgh away. The difference is though that the Edinburgh game wasn't squad rotation it was a full change in system.
The end of the 3rd quarter, while we are more regularly playing 3 games a a week, is the ideal time to rotate the squad. I've little problem with it and I'm sure if we did go on a run of dropped points we would see the strongest 11 back in pretty soon.

but that poor decision takes a bit of the shine off.
If anything it adds more shine!

There is f**k all between the goalies. Both are capable of making decent saves and both are prone to a clanger. It makes f**k all difference to our season which one plays.
Yeah pretty much this. I don't agree with the regular swapping because I think it adds to the likelihood of mistakes, but there is nothing to split them.
The better keeper will always be the one sitting on the bench for the fickle football fan.

Poor with our finishing obviously and the final pass never quite seemed right. Always going to have games like that though so I'm not worried by it.
Had a good laugh at the booing.

There could be a case made that Violent Conduct should receive a longer suspension than Serious Foul Play. If you could determine that Serious Foul Play was related to a football incident and Violent Conduct was intent to injure. Both should be reds though.
