Hungover and feeling a bit sorry for myself but gave me time to think. No doubt in my mind that Dunfermline will slump last quarter barely taking half their available points and we will beat them home and away.

Part of the issue is most fans will, because of the COVID season streams, now have something to compare our commentary team against and it's started to highlight some of the deficiencies.
Like I said before though, the completed package that the guys put together really is top quality.

I'd argue FalkirkTV is in the top 10 of live coverage and highlight packages in Scotland - and absolutely the best outside the premiership - so long as you mute it.

Beautiful. through to the next round at that is all that matters.
Saying that, hopefully ends some of the 'GaRy OlIvER BrInGs sO mUch aS a LoNe StRikeR' nonsense from a select few biscuits last week.

Personally I think the FSS model is all wrong, why would I sign up to pay £10 a month when I get nothing in return?
This has been scoffed at a bit and initially I did the same because a collective Falkirk Supporters Society just makes complete sense to me. However, see when I've been trying to convince folk to sign up this exact argument that comes back just about everytime. The idea of of a collective voice, a union and being part of something bigger than ourselves just doesn't appeal to everyone. It's a shame, a bit embarrassing I think, but this is probably one of the biggest barriers for FSS to address - what can we give back?
Not convinced that changing the structure of FSS to allow members to hold the shares in their own name is the right way to go. Anyone can do that as an individual anyway. Seems @Van_damage is suggesting that benefits would subject donations to VAT charges, be interesting to hear a bit more about this. I'm assuming it refers things like free gifts, club shop discount etc. If FSS was to offer membership only events (like the McGlynn Q&A) is this considered a benefit? The FSS prize draw doesn't impact on VAT charges? May be some work around here.

Apart from the small matter that away fans were moved back to the North stand because they couldn't be segregated.
Won't this just re-introduce the same issue albeit in the North stand?
I'm pretty sure the North Stand can effectively be split in two with both halves having toilets and a kiosk.

Based on what? His hold up play is decent, he runs in behind, his touch is very good and brings others into play? Obviously he doesn’t score enough but when he helps bring Morrison, Nesbitt and Kennedy into play that shouldn’t be a worry.
Did all those things very well. Exactly what I'm looking for in a second striker.

I think some on here are being incredibly harsh on Oliver again. Done a lot of good work, especially against Grant. He should have scored he’ll not need to be told that. We criticise him but his play allows Kennedy and Morrison to be so effective.
He's not a lone striker though.

What it tells you is that they wouldn’t know a football from an Orange
There's been some awful shouts this season. Alegria being a donkey, McCann not good enough etc

I see O’Neills will be our new kit provider from next season- will give them a chance but their list of existing clubs doesn’t exactly scream quality outfit.
Eh? It doesn't take much digging to see they have a reputation as a brilliant bespoke kit supplier.

Fear not. I don’t have a wife (living or dead), and I don’t have a daughter either (living or dead). Just trying to show the preposterous nature of defining “true supporter” criteria. It’s a conversation to nowhere.
Love it.

I'm genuinely struggling to distinguish what is a serious post in here. Dead wife one had me in stitches until about half way through.

Probably is about time for another FSS drive actually.

Manger seeks squad harmony, whatever next? Luke Holt left so there must have been some attempt.
I long for rumours that make sense and you can get excited aboutHolt leaving was also for squad harmony.

Really good statement with lots of important information underneath that rid neck of an opening too.
Hope this isn't going to be another statement where the main messages are distorted by some nonsense.

Are you seriously going to try to defend this shite?
I'd defend it. It's one of the most consistent ways to encourage a deep lying defence (y'know the sort we are constantly faced with in this league) to press you and create space in behind. Of all the things going on with the team this would probably be the last thing I criticise.

I’m presuming the AGM won’t be announced until the club has a clear picture of the numbers they’ve been able to raise via these recent fund raising/ investment initiatives that have been pushed, that and/or finalising agreements with shareholders for any soft loans that have been needed. There’s no point in calling us all to a meeting if all that information isn’t finalised and available, shareholders need to be given an accurate up to date position of where the club is and what needs to be done rather than a “we don’t know yet” or we’re “still in discussions with” such and such.
Honestly you'd save yourself a lot of time just quoting BPM each time you post.

It's pretty common for folk around Falkirk to know at least a few players in the squad each season. Over the last 10 years or so the team, a transfer, injury has been brought up on a Friday night. Never been an issue because you know that information goes no further.
Sounds like, assuming the Larbert HS origin is true, there is a potential young player who needs reminded of the pitfalls of high school gossip.

I’d try and keep Hogarth as No 1 through this season. I prefer him to PJ Morrison and we’d need to make sure he was 100% and not break down again before the season was out. New keepers needed from next season in my opinion
Yeah? I don't think he's a bad keeper but hasn't felt like a considerable upgrade on PJ Morrison, if an upgrade at all. Albeit we have only really got to see Morrison in the league cup games.

The percentage refers to how many players (in a given position) they outperform than in those categories. So it suggests Morrisons crosses are more accurate than 84% of wingers in this league, rather than 84% of his crosses being accurate.
