Burgh had a number of first half chances that they didn’t take and paid the price. When they equalised in the second half it looks like they would go on and win it but fell behind to soft defending.
Unfortunately as time goes by the core supporters drift away with no one stepping into there shoes.
The manager is doing well to get a team on the park and as much as the result looks bad they didn’t throw the towel in. They have one or two players that are decent at this level.
Absolute nonsense. Regardless of what happens this year there is a lot of great work the club is doing in the background with young kids, the community and mental health.
In an ideal world they should go up but we don’t live an ideal world.
Now. There is no fluency or signs that they may turn the corner. Every team gets a goal of start.
The squad is already stretched with 4 first team starters already out for most of the season.
A very decent game in trying conditions with Burgh just sneaking it. The ref was inconsistent and the penalty was a delayed reaction but the noise at the time suggests there might be something in it.
Ling way still to go in the league with plenty teams in contention.
Amazing how a player is vilified for doing what 99% of people do in their every day life. How did the top clubs get their players from so called smaller clubs, the badge, the shirt or better money?
No one can say Paul hasn’t tried his best to get a competitive team on the park but finances will always dictate how this can be sustained and sometimes players need to be sold to keep the club afloat.
