Aye I agree with that although I’d say only Dundee Utd, Raith and Thistle are actually fine. Morton only 9 points ahead of Queens at the moment, however they’re in a better position than everyone else, in the grand scheme of things they could get sucked back in but it would take a collapse.
I agree with your point and had it not been for their very impressive recent run I'd have stopped at Thistle as well. All to play for by everyone.

I have no idea who gets relegated etc as this is a new experience after so long in L1.
At this stage it does look bad for Arbroath but anyone from Morton down has a long way to go yet.
Should I predict or just hope it's QP for that dreadful Hampden view?

No complaints from me about who won , you guys were clearly the better team. My only minor gripe would be Rae at the final whistle standing for about 30 seconds with his hands cupping his ears facing the Rovers fans. If it were me I’d be off celebrating with my own fans.
Obviously I didn't see that and it's not needed but maybe he'd been getting stick at that end. Like many goalies he's clever at eking out time and I get how annoying it is, if it's not your team. Falkirk have just made my night however!

Thought Dean McMaster was excellent last night even if I don't have the stats to back that up. Great to put the ex Airdrie guys on another downer.
Watched the important bits on the TV recording and it's now marked as a keeper!

Worst bit about this is Todorov was waiting for what seemed like an age in all that space.
You're right and I needed several viewings to see where Todororov had been when Airdrie sprung that attack by McGregor. It does look that Easton forgets Todororov is there. It was a lovely spot by Telfer who has been really good over this season. No doubt I'll keep watching it but understand if you don't. Cheers

I had thought it would be a tough game for both sides but the early goal and Raith's weird run of poor form, made it surprisingly relaxed for almost all of the game.
Todororov and the pacy McGregor had those two centre backs always likely to be bossed and but for Dabrowski it would have been a heavier defeat.
However it was the Airdrie pressing of the midfield which controlled much of the game.
I have no dislike of Raith fans, and while it's good to see us reverse those runs of defeats over recent years, some moans about the ref and time wasting etc are just deflections from another poor show.
Our fans should also not get carried away. I also can't stand "the Rangers" nor the other bunch.

It is a loan but a tall attacking player could be a good addition. Looks like the kind of young player Rhys values. Let's wait and see.

Andy goes a set up on Paire in Montpellier. Live on Sky at the moment
Caught it in second set and it's the usual lengthy run to a defeat. It's probably time to say goodbye.
Great memories of course.

Spotted the match at 2 up for Medvedev and went over to other TV delights but dropped back in later on. It was a great fight back and I stayed with it. Some absorbing tennis. On Andy I think it's time to end and remember the great guy he's been.
Who do I follow now?

Planning to go to the match and given all our current missing players,( Raith in a similar position)I can't see both sides finding this anything but a tough outing.
But given how much I'd like to see us continue the troubles of Ian Murray, I hope we put in a big shift.
Raith are on a right weird run after doing so well so I have no idea how it will pan out. Maybe the singing section will give Raith a boost.
Most of us have been critical of the competition changes over the last years but I suppose a final is still worth a shot at.

Got the result right but not the right result , although that's based on being the better team in the second half. Both sides had a good tempo and I enjoyed the duels between the players. Thought Telfer was the top guy for us but Fordyce's recovery tackle was a Tom Forsyth highlight.
Thistle are a better moving team than Raith on my recent viewing and it was a game that never flagged
The ref and our stand lino were standouts for the "look at me" baftas.
Content with a draw? No . But keeping well ahead of the bottom two : Yes
Now to pile on the misery for Ian Murray, that's my wish.

Think it's a draw in the offing , which is not surprising as both sides are in quite good form.
If we have injuries up front then I'd also keep the shape of squad from recent games and bring in McGregor to work beside Todororov. I just can't see Josh O'Connor doing that job.
I like Thistle games and having missed the away game , it will be good to see them kept back at the end as we win 2-1 with a last minute winner( despite my draw comment!)

It’s easy to come up with more successful teams etc but in all honesty, with the budget and resources we have this may be (pound for pound) one of the best Airdrie teams. The BoD have done a great job and Rhys/Dycey have been fantastic. Honestly believe that them still playing gives the team that extra edge. Dycey and Hancock playing great together, brilliant communication from them. Rhys keeping the team focused and organizing things well with Friz, brilliant. It’s mid January and we’re still in 2 cup competitions and a shout at the playoffs. Thats where a good team should be! Our boys will be well tired when everything’s finalized in May!!
I don't disagree with your analysis and it's impossible to compare as you say, given the resources etc . I'm just a happy chap tonight.

What a delight the last twelve months have been and I'd agree about the impact of Mason Hancock while Charlie Telfer has been a driving force.
As to being the best ever seen I think we're entitled to get carried away but I've seen better in my lengthy years of supporting the

Deserved win and great work rate and passing skills. St Johnstone just lacked any real threats for much of the game and it felt like a first goal scored, would get the win. Been a few years since we reached the 5th round and hope it's a decent draw.

Loan player recalled so let's give him praise and it's time to move on. Still need some additions.

No worries for Airdrieonians. Clearly a home win is on the cards.
Wrap up well for our cold welcome.
However I have no idea what the result will be.

I watched your highlights and I can't believe that incident was not given as a penalty but it was Euan Anderson.
Did I hear the commentary talk about " beans and toast" for the post. It made me smile.
At least you got to see a game as I pondered the workings of USH in Fife.

At least I've found the chat quite amusing as I pass away the morning annoyance at having no football today. Can't even see a close local game and I'm not going to Greenock which has even worse water problems.
Qué Sera.

Gone for an Airdrie win but it will be the usual nervy visit of the last few seasons.

Is that Fergusons first defeat at ITC?
Meant to double quote the other poster but Airdrie won the League Cup game and Dodds was the manager . Inverness won the home League game unfortunately for me.

Magnificent seven ( I hope) get correct score.

Certainly considering it and I do wonder who the target audience is at that price, dripping clues about the main speaker, and how many tickets are up for distribution?
My dad was always so proud of seeing that cup win and I'd like to think of him if I go.
