Hizb-ut-Tahrir are an odd one - support the restoration of the Caliphate but by non-violent means. It's not just Western governments that don't tolerate them but Muslim ones as well.
Hizb, Hizb, Hizb for the cup?

I think I saw the briefcase in the taxidermy thread

How on earth did they find a printshop willing to print those? When I was 15 I had real trouble trying to get any apparel shops to make me a ‘Bomb Ibiza’ baseball cap

Dandies1983 and @BaSeDG0DSA1NT I’ve sent game requests I’m Dustysghost (‘Dusty’ being the deceased dog of my friend who I play chess against, in a morbid act of trollery )

In fairness after the years we shared in the championship I probably care more about Rangers than I do about Celtic, I feel you've had more of a brush with mortality which makes the club slightly more relatable, there was a brief couple of years where Rangers vs Hibs was a fairly open game and was one I look forward to, something I can't say I've ever done for Celtic.
Sans the sectarian stuff I quite like the tunes too, big fan of Scooter but hopefully we won't be hearing 'I like it loud' belted out today.

It was written in 1972 as a reaction to Bloody Sunday as far as I'm aware, and specifically rails against an occupying military force, which leans more towards freedom fighter than "bad IRA".
It very much sounds like I am white knighting my big team here, so I'll quit while I'm marginally ahead.
Fine. “Roll of Honour” then. They sing plenty of songs that have nothing to do with the old guard.

In fact, as far as I can discern, all of Celtic's song book seems to reference that conflict rather than, say, the blowing up of shopping centres.
“Go On Home British Soldiers” is from the “Bad IRA” era

Holy…
Been out the loop for a while and just seen Rangers have hired Clement.
I’ve been a part time follower of French football for a few seasons, so can’t claim to be an expert. But that’s a completely beige signing if ever I’ve seen one.

What a bizarre argument re percentage of voters and blame. Statistics for Dummies.

Fairly easy, you're far more likely to go high, if he wasn't zeroed for the range aswell the bullet will land higher than what his sights are aiming at aswell.
The precise reason you aim for centre of mass is that if the bullet doesn't go there, it's got the best chance of hitting something.
I'd never heard of that case though, that's wild.
If an armed policeman can’t hit a torso from 15ft, he shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near a firearm

I’m wholeheartedly against the Israeli onslaught, but lads…be fair…it’s looking more and more like it was a Hamas rocket that hit the hospital by accident.

I once had severe internal bleeding and, honestly Richey, it was almost as bad.

I will sometimes send a voice note to a pal if I’ve got a story that would take ages to write or sometimes record our farts and send them to each other. Stuff like “up to much at the weekend?” or “how ye getting on?”general chat etc should be 100% conducted via text message.
You’ve actually changed my mind a wee bit. I might start sending farts to my pal via voice message. Cheers

Weirdly, anyone I know who does this is a woman. Not sure why that is, but my male friends and I all communicate via text rather than voice notes.
Disagree. My best friend is a virile, masculine male and won’t stop voice messaging. Still, he used to try and actually call me for years until he caved in to my sociopathic tendencies. So I suppose voice messages are a marginal improvement

So glad you brought this up. It needs addressed. My wife and several friends do it all the time. They don’t understand that:
a) I need to spend a few seconds downloading it
b) I then need to spend several minutes listen to them umming and aahing just to make a very basic point
Quicker for them. Waste of my fucking time. Get it in the bin.

Another early World Cup exit for Townsend. He'll be fine though due to the group and it only being a 22 point margin of loss when 50 looked on.
The SRU will not be questioned as Scotland doesn't care enough about rugby union to get upset by it. The small band of rugby media will not make an impact and genuine rugby goers don't seem overly fussed or scathing at defeats in the same way football fans go hard on embarrassing Scottish football displays.
As for Ireland, f**k them, hope they get pumped out. Sexton alone is throughly dislikeable.
Honestly don’t get the vitriol for Ireland’s rugby and football teams on this forum. Having lived here for a decade, I can assure you it’s not reciprocal. And sexton seems like a great guy

I fail to see how this pumping isn’t anything to do with Ireland.
Absolute fucking weirdos in the crowd celebrating those tries.
It does have to do with Ireland. I said it’s nothing to do with Townsend. But mostly it’s to do with an appalling Scottish grassroots rugby set up

Every minute here makes the decision to give Townsend a contract worse and worse. It is an admission that third in the Six Nations once every few years and maybe making a World Cup quarter final once every three World Cups is the height of the SRU's ambition. Obviously Ireland are a considerably better team and losing to them is no surprise, but this manner of defeat is an absolute disgrace. He should be sacked before the final whistle.
It’s nothing to do with Townsend. Ireland have a smaller pool of players to choose from but still outperform us. I’ve been to the IRFU training centre in Blanchardstown. It’s WORLD class. Scottish rugby players didn’t even have their own fucking gym until 2015

They're a great team obviously and have sworded us here but I would find it incredibly pleasing to see them lose in the final to France with an absolute homèr of a ref.
Really? I find them far more likeable than the French team

I think if you try to view the women’s game as a miniature version of the men’s game, then you’re always going to be disappointed. The way that many Scottish teams are beginning to look at it - and the way I agree with - is making it more of a ‘day out,’ along the lines of American sports. Men’s football is all about the 90 mins you spend in the stadium screaming at ‘the enemy’ (or, in Hibs’ case, your own team). Everything else before and after takes place in pubs or at home. The women’s game doesn’t have the vitriol, and can therefore accommodate pre-and-post game entertainment. Which I think is nice. Also means it can co exist with the men’s game and not compete with it
