Indeed the Rose were the better team over the 2 legs and a magnificent achievement for our club and congratulations to all involved in running the club. I enjoyed my day and evening. Took a while to get out of Cowdenbeath with all the traffic but it was a happy journey back to Bonnyrigg and it was a great night in the town. Well done The Rose

Well a great day for Rose fans and a sad one for Cowdenbeath fans. Over the 180mins the Rose deserved the victory. I like many others was disappointed at the lack of urgency, motivation shown by the home team. Your fans complaints from NDP last week are nothing compared to your ramshackle ground, an awful place to view football. The crowd figure was given as 2117, (I think that is when you will have a half decent team next). There was surely much more than that. I think you are mistaken with your second sentence. FYI The Rose have voted against the bigot B teams on all occasions and also voted for increased relegation in the LL. So the season which started away last 17th July reaches it climax today, over the Bridge to the kingdom at the Stadio del stock cars. A massive game for both clubs for differing reasons. Well I still have a great big beaming smile on my face this morning. What a fantastic victory for The Rose yesterday against the Blue Brazil. We played well controlled and managed the game although Cowdenbeath played with 10 men for about an hour. They hardly laid a glove on us and our goalie didn’t have to make a real save till the last 5 mins. Whilst their goalie had a few saves to make in the second half and if Kieran Halls header had gone in there would have been a real thick layer of icing on the cake. So we take our 3 goal lead over the bridge to the kingdom next Saturday and in all honesty I can’t see our opposition scoring 3 goals against us. It was great to see an excellent turn out of fans and I’m sure all the Rose fans and many neutrals will be there next Saturday. C’mon The Rose

Well it’s a calm grey cloudy coolish morning in downtown Bonnyrigg. I am sure the excitement will build towards the 3pm kick off. It will probably be the biggest gate for many’s a year at NDP. I certainly look forward to today’s game and the 2nd leg next week. Expect it to be a close result over the 2 legs and if the Rose can get a home victory today it will be all to play for next week. Well it’s Saturday again and another big Saturday for The Rose and their fans. Gonna be a long day up and down to Fraserburgh. Hopefully the weather conditions are decent for the game and the rain stays away. The first goal will be vitally important for the outcome of the game, so I hope it’s the Rose who score it.
