  1. Last sentence the comment of a Lowland League expert.(not) A person who does not even have the courage to name his team. C’mon The Rose
  2. Well what a lovely Spring day for a car journey to Dalbeattie. Our longest away League journey of the season. Hope all the celebrations of last weekend are out of the systems and we can get back down to business for the last 4 league games and keep the momentum going for the playoffs, wherever they maybe in the Highland League. Always been close games with Dalbeattie Star and look forward to visiting one of the “Good Boy” clubs in the LL. C’mon The Rose
  3. And the reason why the Braves manager gave his opinion to the Glasgow Record about the OF Colts being in the LL. C’mon The Rose
  4. Exactly What a shock . Another soulless club without fans . The Glasgow Record again talking to clubs within their catchment area, and proper waste of time experiment. McGillvery’s expense account not take him past the Glasgow border to gauge opinions. Maybe Edufrance should rebrand themselves as OF Colts Braves C’mon The Rose
  5. It’s all gone quiet on here guys. The punters unhappy? Thought the self proclaimed “No1 Goalie” had a great game (not) on Saturday. Thanks to all at the club to allow The Rose fans their celebrations on Saturday. C’mon The Rose
  6. Now then the Glasgow Record you have given one representative of the bad boys have their say on the OF Colts in the LL. May I suggest that the Glasgow Record talks to a representative of one of the 5 good boys teams and they will give your publication their story of why the OF Colts should be nowhere near the LL. P.S Can’t see that happening C’mon The Rose
  7. It is indeed not . So hopefully all those in favour last time have grown a pair and reject the OF Colts applications and encourage a proper pyramid system with clubs from level 6 able to gain promotion. The baddies from the last vote Broomhill, Cumbernauld Colts, Caley Braves, EK, Spartans, Stirling Uni, Gala, Vale of Leithan, Gretna, East Stirling, Berwick . I hope you are making the correct decision this time. C’mon The Rose
  8. Well another great day to be a Rose fan yesterday. We were at it right from the starting whistle and Sean Brown hit the opener from inside the 6 yard box, big Kieron’s strength carried him into the box for the second, a great end to end move. We continued to dominate the half and should have scored a few more before half time. The ref even denied us a blatant penalty when a defender wanted McGachies shirt as a souvenir. Berwick started the second half playing more football uphill against the wind. The Rose eased the pressure in the second half when the self proclaimed “No1 Goalie flapped at a save which rebounded on to McGachies chest and rolled into the empty net from 12 yds. But the usual No1 Goalies biggest boob came 5mins from the end when he hit a fresh air clearance (oh how the Rose fans loved that) and Evans took his time in hammering the ball into the net. The scenes at the end with team and fans were most memorable. Culmination of a fantastic effort throughout the season and a well deserved League Championship. Well done to all involved I have loved it. C’mon The Rose
  9. So another big Saturday has arrived a victory today and we win the League. It will be another tough game Berwick are an improved team from their first 2 seasons in the LL. I am getting a bit excited and look forward to the right result come 4.45pm today. C’mon The Rose
  10. Limited 250 with the Celts at home and under 1000 against the Gers. When we went to Airdrie to play the Celts they had about 10 fans compared to The Rose 120. When we go to Dumbarton next month I reckon The Rose will provide the majority of the crowd. Last week we had circa 780 against Cumbernauld Colts and as we know they have few fans. C’mon The Rose
  11. Well Fraser ain’t there anymore and hopefully his influence left with him. For me the OF Colts contribution is zero. Taken the piss with fixtures and certainly never brought an increase in gates.
  12. Hopefully a change to the Constitution “No SPFL Colts teams will be permitted to apply to join the League” C’mon The Rose
  13. Well as predicted that was a tough match yesterday. Been a while since we were at ground like Dunterlie. Thought both penalties were justified and we are blessed to have 2 goalies of the quality of Mikey and Mark. A few noticeable absentees from the starting line up, which gave others valuable game time. So we move on to Berwick next Saturday and I’m sure all the squad will be trying their hardest to be in the starting lineup next week. My excitement will increase as the week goes on. C’mon The Rose
  14. Well it’s another trip along the M8 and a new ground for me this afternoon. I remember Arthurlie beating us in a Scottish Junior cup tie at Bonnyrigg a few years ago. It certainly will be a difficult match, reckon the home team will be out to capture a big scalp. I look forward to a rousing cup tie as is usual when we get drawn against teams from the WoS C’mon The Rose
  15. You better get an increase in your pocket money as they charge £18 for admission!!! C’mon The Rose
  16. It’s not just Bonnyrigg fans it was the correct decision for the whole of Scottish football. P.S A long as no Colts teams are admitted to any of the Leagues. C’mon The Rose
  17. Taking the piss and total disrespect for the LL as they have done all season. C’mon The Rose
  18. Thought it was a comfortable victory, whilst the opposition did not offer too much of a threat last night. The Rose went about their business in a professional manner. The early goal helped the cause, then it was great to see Sean Brown s ore his first goal for the Rose. A scoring blitz at the start of the second half finished the game and even the luxury of Sean Brown skying his penalty for his hat trick.. The players kept the lid on any celebration at the end and that will come in a forthcoming League match. I also thought the pitch was in great nick and compliments to those concerned for that. C’mon The Rose
  19. Another story released to the least read publication of Scottish football. Remember the Fraser story earlier in the season!!! C’mon The Rose
  20. It’s not an issue guys when you see the way the ugly sisters colts teams have treated the LL this season. C’mon The Rose
  21. Well I had a day out yesterday and chose to take the No. 31 bus to the match. It certainly was a brisk walk to and from Cameron Toll. It was even windier the the large expanse of East Peffermill. The wind spoiled the quality of game and we should have gone in a half time in the lead. It was a mighty relief from me and all the Rose fans when Scotty was able to hit the back of the net with a good strike. It was an even bigger relief when Bradley hammered home the 2nd. So another massive 3pts in our quest. I will now look forward excitably to the match on Tuesday night . C’mon The Rose
  22. So the shortest journey for an away game in the LL for us today. Pondering whether to take the car or the No 31 bus and have a walk. The Rose are getting nearer to the winning post so should be a good following of Rose fans at Peffermill today and personally hope the Uni club get good gate receipts. I certainly won’t grudge them a penny. For me a bit of reward for being one of the good boys of the League with being 1 of the “5” who made the correct decision before the start of the season. Nonetheless expect the Rose to collect the 3pts come 4.45pm this afternoon. C’mon The Rose
  23. Well that was a welcome back to NDP yesterday. Well done to the sand squad for their efforts to get the game on. Conditions were heavy of course and it took a long time to wear Bo’ness down. I had a feeling that if we got 1 goal we would get others. Lee Currie needs to go back to penalty taking school. The Rose kept going and very quickly were awarded another penalty emphatically dispatched by Neilly. The second and third goals put a bit more gloss on the final score and another massive 3pts. Bo’ness have sure been very generous with the penalties they have give up against us. A big week coming up, hope the weather stays calm so the game can go ahead on Tuesday and we can roll on to Peffermill on Saturday for another big game. C’mon The Rose
