  1. Delighted with the news (assuming we stay up). Always like an Arbroath away day and until Food2Go Catering arrived at Forthbank, you always got the best pies at Arbroath (Steak & Black Pudding ). Well done on your stellar attempt at representing us Part Time clubs in the Championship, what a valiant fight you put up, so I hope all the genuine fans hold your head high as you come back down.
  2. What a goal to win the game!!! The relief it brought and I’m delighted for Young Offord. I thought we were once again, very poor on the ball, but thankfully for us, Montrose were also poor and pretty unadventurous, but when you give nothing away defensively and you work hard as a solid unit, then you always stand a chance and that’s exactly what happened. I just can’t understand why we constantly hit the ball away and give it straight back to the opposition team. 2 bits of quality, a phase of in the first half and the phase of play for the goal aside, it was so predictable and and so wasteful. I really feel for Carrick at times because he just has nothing to work with and very little in the way of support. Though Young was slow to change it, what Leitch and Hilson were doing to justifying staying on, I do not know, and Carrick seemed to be playing much of the Second Half with an injury. When the changes were made, I was delighted though. Thought Spence and Offord gave us the energy and spark that had been missing upfront and McPeak had options. He was given sponsors MOTM, and I said it a few weeks ago, but I really hope we can keep McPake for next season, he really is a fantastic player at this level and he offers us so much. As I said, on the ball, I thought we were poor for long periods of the game but left Forthbank a happy man and delighted for the players involved.
  3. Can only think that, like the supporters, Darren looked at the back ground of the player and liked it enough to sign him…..but since rocking up, simply doesn’t fancy him.
  4. Really looking forward to this game, have said on here before that I have a wee soft spot for Stewart Petrie and I admire the job that he has done at Montrose over the years. However, I also really want to win it to stave off the threat of 9th place, especially with Kelty Hearts picking up 3 (unexpected??) points against Alloa during the week. We've been really Jeckyll & Hyde this season, none more so than putting up an admirable fight against Falkirk 2 weeks ago, only to crumble at Hamilton last week. I hope we see our good side again on Saturday, we keep the ball down and we play some nice football whilst showing the fight, grit and determination that we all know we have.
  5. It's kind of all been said, but I'll be raging if Souttar is over looked for the squad, assuming he is fit. The lad has been hampered by injuries but it's my view that he is our best Centre Back who quite simply, we need with us.
  6. Yip, it’s all here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68621944 That’s fine, at least we all know where we stand now.
  7. As a 5-10 game "watcher at Camelon, I'm delighted at the appointment. Loved the football Moore had us playing, some coup for the club and a great character that you'll love having about. He's strict but fair and has a list of contacts throughout the game, I can totally understand why the board have made the change.
  8. Not sure I would agree with that. Having watched them play us 3 times this season, I don’t think anyone has really been a standout or better than anyone in the current Stirling start 11.
  9. Going to have to back my lads here and say I think we’ll be fine. We’ve quite possibly got the most favourable of the remaining fixtures and I also don’t believe we have the worst team of those mentioned and I’m going to predict that 2 of those mentioned finish below us. It sounds like we let our standard drop this Saturday, but in general we have a squad that are playing for each other and are putting their bodies on the line to grind out results, I’m not sure the others can say they are doing that as much as we are. We’ve also got the best defensive record, so in general, we don’t give much away but sadly, we don’t score much either….which has been a concern for most of the season, but we do have a whole host of players that are more than capable of popping up to bag the 1 or 2 that we need. It’s gonna be interesting, but I predicted Annan 9th at the start of the season and Kelty 8th and I’m going to stick with that, as I trust Darren Young and these group of players to see the job out.
  10. …..and that’s why it’s great to see you back!
  11. Logged in this morning and don't see a problem with it.......no doubt that'll change on match day haha
  12. Go for an XL. Same size as myself and that's what I'm wearing
  13. I really hope not, but it would appear he is following the same path that many others have. Looked really promising and then injury hits and problems become a snow balling affect.....maybe like Stevie May maybe being the most recent example. Really hope not as he definitely look like he was going to be a top top player, however seeing him (in the flesh) for Preston and I just don't see anything to suggest he will achieve it sadly.
  14. Well that’s 1 of the 4 now put to bed!
  15. That Home shirt, that's how you do it. Belter!!
  16. Where did you pick these bad boys up from??
  17. Ah, didn't realise that @Pie Of The Month. Thank you
  18. That is interesting @2426255, think when call ups happen you don't quite realise it until you see the facts right in front of you. We'll all have our own preferences on who to take, but ultimately Clarke is giving everyone the chance together.
  19. …..and the ironic thing I heard today was that Darren Young admitted that his public comments last season (about preparing for football in League 1) helped spur our players on to the tile.
  20. Another excellent interview, a really really good listen and well done to Darren for being so open as well, such an easy guy to chat too. Interesting that he still has ambitions to manage Full Time (and surprising he’s never had the opportunity too), that he was getting pelters from a section of East Fife supporters and a few interesting points last season (forgot about the Dumbarton Chairman’s remark) along with his playing days…..admired his honesty again talking about his injuries at Dundee and signing for Alloa. Excellent listen, and as sad as I would be, I really hope Darren can fulfil his ambition and be offered a Full Time job eventually, his a fantastic lower league manager and genuinely one of life’s good guys. Again, well done.
  21. Surely when the tickets do come through they'll be a QR code like previous?? If so, when it becomes available, log in via your phone, screenshot the codes and then send them onto your son.
