  1. Nicky Clark is free, available and looking for a new club. Just putting it out there!
  2. So now that the deals for both Daniel and Gavin have been finalised, only now do I think it appropriate to comment. Having whiteness both these boys playing as teenagers in a physical East of Scotland league it was obvious they were both destined for higher things. It was a pleasure watching two lightweight youngsters more than holding their own and often standing out and staring in the games they played. It’s great to see both these players move on to higher things and I wouldn’t be surprised if they move on to even bigger clubs. No disrespect to Queen of the South but these guys are now playing with better players and will have the use of better facilities and coaching so they should only improve. From a personal point of view it’s pleasing to see both these guy’s move on and Daniel going to Hibs is great, Gavin going to the dark side of the city well, but if he plays as well as the last Reilly did in Edinburgh, which I’m sure he will he’ll be a big hit. There are some very small minded people on here and we are all aloud to have our opinion but I think for those who are sad enough to troll through previous posts of mine I think you’ll find I have been totally vindicated in everything I’ve said in the past. I’m sure some will take pleasure in responding to this post. Good luck to both these players as their careers move on to a bigger chapter. Stick in lads.

  4. Would you really want him based on what he's done in the league this year?
  5. Really, care to elaborate? I would have thought your wage structure would be similar to Falkirk, Raith, Livi etc. Minimum wage for the youths and higher wages for the senior players.
  6. Ooh get you!!! FYI Lawrie was an absolute gentleman.
  7. I would love Reilly at Hibs. Great name to be associated with the club.
  8. Fowler was on loan at Cowdenbeath, so there is history of the pair working together.
  9. http://pfascotland.co.uk/2015/news/pfa-scotland-announce-teams-of-the-year/ Congratulations to Gavin Reilly.
  10. You called? Gavin Reilly is a striker in a Queen of the South team that by all accounts are generally playing well and are in 4th place in the Championship. They have had some very good results notably the home victories over both Hibs and Rangers. He is joint top goal scorer in the league and has been getting some rave reviews on national tv and radio as well as in the press. I'm sure come 16.50 on Saturday you'll know a lot more about him and it wouldn't surprise me to hear that he had scored. Hey you cheeky wee rascal RG I bet you already knew this, no?
  11. My goodness, that's some inside information to divulge on a social media site or is it just a spurious accusation?
  12. Well you've got me, try and get him signed up for Brisbane Roar so you can see him first hand although they'll have to be quick as Getafe are also very keen!
  13. I think that would have been most people's thoughts. Why not send them to train with your youths for a few weeks, if your next two games are away to Raith and Falkirk this could come back to bite you on the derriere! Bit naive if you ask me.
  14. You seem to have a young reasonably successful team who playing attractive football and are fighting it out with the "big boys" of the league therefore you would expect other so called bigger teams being interested in some if not most of your players. It's just one of those inevitable facts of football.
  15. It's belated congratulations to Queen of the South for their victory in the cup last weekend, got kind of caught up in the euphoria of the Spartans victory, Ainslie Park was the place to be last Saturday.
  16. There's a slight element of irony in all your comments.
  17. Wasn't me I wasna there!

  18. One account is enough for me but I was having problems with it so I had to re-register. As I wasn't allowed to use the same name I chose what I thought was the nearest thing so as not to confuse anyone.
  19. Any idea why he left a good job at Kilmarnock? Sorry to disappoint some but that’s not me, far to articulate. I must commend him for the report however, especially the final sentence. I just hope he’s prepared for the tongue lashing he might get from some of the Queen of The South posters. You never know if Gavin continues with his form he may well move on in January and the Queen of the South supporters could have their prayers answered with young Mr Clark going back their on loan as it would appear he’s not able to get a game now under Alistair McCoist. Anyway it’s nice to see that Gavin is getting the recognition from those that are in the know
