  1. Same teams as last season sort from OG Broomhill, Civil Service Strollers and Alloa Athletic. Boness United, Caledonian Braves, Edinburgh University, Linlithgow Rose and Tranent join the Lowland Development League as their 1st team play in the Lowland League. The Lowland Development League will have 14 clubs
  2. It will be up later tonight as there was an error in it and it will be sorted.
  3. The West of Scotland conferences were regionalised at the request of the clubs as this is their 1st season. 20/21 would been their 1st season, but the season did not start due to Covid.
  4. Please explain how over 400 young adults can move to u21s as there are only 24 clubs in the West of Scotland. There are no u21s anywhere else in Scotland. Not all the players are with 1 club, they are spread over the 67 clubs from last season. What people have not picked up on is that the SYFA are adding an u18's league next season so their u17s are not missing out, so they plan on having 17s, 18s and 19s. Double standards comes to mind, Had anyone actually thought about the players mental health, no football played and limited training for the last 15 months and then this happens.
  5. Yes they have and it was chased up numerous times. As the Development League is governed by the Lowland League any rule changes have to be approved by the SFA in the same way as any rule changes affect the East or West of Scotland leagues
  6. How is it a poor situation. I have not seen or read anywhere that teams in the East or the other 2 West Conferences moaning about the split. Perhaps they just want football to start and see the young players develop. It is a development league after all.
  7. So if you have a league of 10, that equates to 18 league games, what do the players do for games after that. They cannot play teams in other conferences as they will be playing and don't tell me that they could play each other 3 or 4 times, that's a nonsense
  8. Look at the make up of the other conferences and work out why Bonnyton may have been put in conference A. It's the 1st year of the West conferences and nobody knows how strong or weak teams will be. It is trial and error for a season. Are you aware of any clubs complaining regarding the set up?
  9. Largs Thistle twitter is wrong, it's players born on or after 1st January 2001. Can someone contact the club to advise them of their error, as could cause issues if players born 2000 look for a trial
  10. Largs Thistle twitter is wrong. It's players born on or after 1st January 2001. Anyone born before that are too old. Can someone advise them in case players born in 2000, contact them.
  11. There is no rule. It is up to each individual club to determine if they charge or not as long as they advise the opposition, so that their parents/supporters are aware to avoid any issues when they attend the game. It is a development league and if clubs ask for a donation or a £2 entry fee, it should not cause a problem. I do know that last season very few teams charged for people to watch development games
