  1. Certainly the most reasoned reply I have had and hard to disagree in hindsight. Hopefully one of the old firm doesn’t win it. Even Naismith hasn’t really outperformed expectations. The biggest shock from this is that QOTS supposedly have a bigger budget than Falkirk. What a shambles of a season they are having if that is the case
  2. I did acknowledge that in previous point about the fact we could finish 8th-9th. If that happens then I’ll happily vote for mcglynn
  3. I agree but it’s a pretty good indicator of where a team is going to finish hence why everyone was predicting airdrie to finish bottom. To be fair, there is still time to go until end of season and airdrie could still finish 8th As long as one of the old firm managers don’t win it then I won’t be upset.
  4. Abroath have about 1 million players due to their injury crisis earlier in the season. We actually haven’t really signed many new players
  5. Lowest budget in the league and sitting 4th (albeit we have dropped down after losing against Ayr but two games in hand). Won the challenge cup. Won league cup group. Reached 5th round in Scottish cup (falkirk got beat by Bonnyrigg in previous round). Fair play if you go unbeaten but your budget is significantly larger than almost every team in the league. It is not a huge shock that you are walking the league.
  6. Without trying to be too bias, I would think Rhys McCabe would be ahead of mcglynn for the spfl manager of the year
  7. I was going to mention this. Your left sided centre back was absolutely fantastic. Strolled it
  8. I went along to links park today. I know it’s a running joke but what an away support today.
  9. Ach not unexpected to lose last night. Winning the cup was worth it. Still sitting in 4th with a game in hand. Still focussing on finishing 8th and above.
  10. I would imagine the usual shite of old firm managers being up for it but surely McCabe should be in for a shout for manager of the year
  11. Aye Ayr have our number weirdly. But like us with raith. Be good to get one win against you arseholes
  12. I actually quite like the new stand at Somerset. Sad that the old terrace part is gone but makes commercial sense
  13. Could have been different people. Not a clue. I did wonder who would be pocketing the £5 a head parking for the number of cars there
  14. If only your big crowd had managed to beat fucking TNS! Surely doesn't make a difference though as your car park has a finite number of spaces. Apparently i got the very last parking space so whether it was 6k or 3k attendance wouldnt matter as once your car park is full then its full. Did seem a bit chaotic.
  15. Although we are currently 4th, have two games in hand over some and feel we are a match for anyone in the league, I don’t think we will finish 4th. However, that would be ok with the season we have had. That being said, it would be magic just to be involved in the play offs.
  16. Sure we will cope. Something about the Falkirk stadium. Just never seem to lose there Incorrect. Was thrown by the Welsh mob after their first goal.
  17. Quite amusing that we have lifted silverware at the Falkirk stadium this season before the mighty bairns have.
  18. It might be the diddy cup but it feels fucking glorious to win something. Loads of players out injuries or cup tied but felt we were fairly comfortable. My only sadness is the realisation that, at some point, McCabe will leave airdrie. Genuinely the best it’s been supporting airdrie in my almost 40 years of living.
  19. Probably not far wrong. Looking forward to renewing our rivalry next season (assuming we stay up)
  20. If falkirk win the league next weekend then I hope every single one of their fans runs on the pitch.
  21. At a time when we are moaning about the SFA not selling our football enough, it seems ridiculous that clubs would do something like this. Similar with the old firm. It’s completely tinpot.
