The current set up is fine. As others have said, the play offs should be one legged affairs. No need for two legs. The winners of the highland and lowland leagues should get automatically promoted, especially if Clyde finish bottom.
Falkirk should also be made to stay in league 1. Just for a laugh.

Least we are in the play offs officially. Try get our injuries cleared. Need to get ballantyne back to allow us to keep the shape that has been successful the last few weeks.

Might not be a bad thing. Brings some people back down to earth and gives us a bit of a reality check that we are very much outsiders for the play offs. Ballantyne being out clearly making a difference.

aye I can’t see it. It’s a free hit for us, however, that doesn’t mean we should be taking it lightly. Every game will Be a challenge. If we somehow manage to get past partick then it wouldn’t surprise me if raith got I’ve their hoodoo. Surely has to happen eventually albeit I’ve said this every game.
It’s just nice to be an airdrie fan at the moment. As I always say, got to enjoy these times as a supporter of a diddy club because it can all change very quickly.

Can only reiterate the point that it’s an unreal signing. He will score goals next season, even more so if Arbroath try and play the ball on the deck.

take it from a Falkirk fan this is the weakest league 1 ive seen in 5 years and we’re the benchmark they need to beat and as of yet none have but in my honest opinion is that if one team were to go up it would be Alloa or Montrose as they have gave us the hardest games out of the teams in playoff contention unless hamilton sack rankin and get someone new in quickly but as I say none of them will give a hard time just an annoying time at the rec/the links/the ndp/the industrial estate of cove get into the playoffs

If Ayr fans just please refrain from repeating the same shitey line about “how a team that they have beaten 4 times this season has finished in the play offs” then that would be great. Getting a bit boring. You can use it again next season when we play each other.

To be fair, they had our number last season and we have struggled against them this season. However, we are finding form at the right time and our current formation seems to suit us. You never know. Next week will give us an idea

Airdrie are a group of fans who are happy after 10 years in L1 that they have finally made it back to the level they all felt they should have been operating at, but also feel the need to run around the internet shouting about how wonderful they are and dredging up old posts for a few "told you so" put downs of slight criticism and the crime of failing to correctly predict an inherently unpredictable sport.
Again, you are putting words in Airdrie fans mouths. I dont think MOST Airdrie feel we should have been operating at championship level. We have earned the right to be in the league and earned the right to be in 4th.
Regarding your second point, most airdrie fans would have predicted that they would finish somewhere between 8th-10th this season. Genuinely dont think there is anything wrong with a) laughing at Arbroath fans who predicted they would not be challenging at the bottom and B) having a laugh at the posts predicting Airdrie would struggle. Not in a "told you so" way but in a "fucking hell i cant believe we are 4th" way.
As i said in my previous comment, the only people wanking themselves over Airdrie are external people purely because of some of the goals we have scored, our general style of play and also because Rhys MCCabe is a fairly young manager who is showing a lot of promise. This is fairly normal.
Sounds like Partick fans are worried.... If we make the play offs then you will probably hammer us so its not really a big deal.

I don’t think any normal airdrie is doing anything other than enjoying it. I would suggest it’s external people that are constantly talking about our style of play etc.
