Here he is at his best At one point he was that good, he played for England Under 21's in the Euro's alongside the likes of James Milner.

He had a bad injury and then a couple of set backs pretty much until he left. It should be noted though that the medical department at Hearts at the time was ... interesting. Lithuanians with sticks analysing injuries by putting players fingers in a magic box and shit. He's playing over 40 games games for Houston so can't be too bad.

Driver was probably our best player for a number of years. He had a few bad injuries, was rushed back too early a couple of times during our crazy years, put on quite a bit of muscle and completely lost his pace and form. He was showing signs of getting back to his old self towards the end of his time at Hearts with a brilliant display in the cup final and I think he has done alright in the MLS. He'd be a good signing for any team in Scotland outside of Celtic.

Remember Hibs thought this was their year as well.

Kickback hasn't made any contribution to Hearts at all. People who use Kickback have. Important to note the difference. You could argue the management haven't and that's why it's pish now.

Hearts and Spurs legend Dave Mackay has passed away. Widely regarded as one of the best Scottish players of all time. Very sad.

Hopefully we are starting to build for next season now. I think we could do with about 3 or 4 quality players. A centre half is a must. Overall though, it's another season of experience for our young talent and I'm confident we'll be looking for a top 6 place next season.

Carrick is a cracking wee player, very good signing for Raith. He's coming back from 2 injury spells in quick succession so it might take him a bit of time to get going, but he should score a few for you. Interesting move from Robbie with Hibs and Rangers coming up for Raith soon.

He's been told he can leave. I get the impression Levein isn't too keen on his attitude.

All the best to McKay, he's a limited player but has a brilliant attitude. Improved a lot this season and should continue to do so with regular game time.

Was tipped for big things when he was in the 20's, but he has stalled a bit. There was a bid from Nottingham Forrest last season and apparently his agent has filled his head with nonsense and he's never really recovered from it. He's excellent technically, Mark Wotte was a big fan of him and was always calling on him to be given a run of games. I find him a bit frustrating as he has the ability to really be a match winner but seems happy to go through the motions at times rather than force the game. I think he could be a really good signing for Dundee Utd. Sadly his future lies away from Hearts for a number of reasons.

If it's up to him, there's not a chance he'll go. Hearts daft. He's improved a lot this season. Needs game time and an older head beside him, hope we can keep him.

Great news with McGhee. Has massive potential.

Think it's pretty clear Holt is well out of favour now and will be off somewhere. He's got the ability but for whatever reason he has failed to get a run in the side under a few managers and when he has had some game time, he hasn't exactly made an impression. Always good on the ball but rarely has major influence on a game.

De Vries was on the pitch at the weekend there as well. Presumably over with this lad.
