Hearts have 4 away fixtures in their next 5, including Celtic. If I was a Jambo, i'd be focusing on that rather than my rivals.
Neilson rightly received criticism for Wednesday night and the jury is still very much out regarding whether he can take us beyond third and reaching cup finals. That's the base that absolutely every club in the country outside of Glasgow wants to be in to try and build from, though. Let's not try and pretend otherwise.
Hearts have also lost just two games against non Old Firm sides in the league all season (away to Livingston and Aberdeen immediately after European games). Hence why we are and will continue to utterly stroll to third place again.

"You're stuck with your manager because his team keeps winning games of association football' isn't the put-down you seem to think it is.
Just over a week ago, a large majority of the Hibs support wanted him out on his ear. He's also been in charge of the two biggest Edinburgh derby pumpings since the 2012 Scottish Cup Final. This wee purple patch is just perfect for him, really. You'll probably beat Killie next weekend, but then it's the Tony Mac, followed by the Old Firm back-to-back.
Long may he reign.

Humphrys has to start
He will. Shankland is suspended. To be fair, he probably would have started regardless after his second half performance yesterday.

Hibs have to be chuffed to bits with this result, not only does it take them back into the top 6, it papers over the cracks of some poor performances which has seen them draw, or just squeak by, the clubs at the bottom of the league, and when added to the Aberdeen victory it starts to look like very decent form for them.
Wee Lee now safe as houses.

You just ken folk were waiting to shoot their load yesterday if we got beat/failed to win, btw. Hibs/Aberdeen/St Murn bois will have been spewing because of those shree late goals. Highly pleasing.

Surprised they stuck it straight to general sale for phase two rather than simply lower the loyalty points threshold. Not that it matters.

The stroll to third continues.

'Monkey Tennis' out to bat for the Simps again in something none of them care about. Obviously.

That setup is a fucking shocker. Considering most of the fanbase looked at that and wondered what was going on, it's no surprise whatsoever to see we've had our pants pulled down.

Not got a scooby what system we're playing with this line-up. It's err... very attacking on paper.

What chance has football in this country got when Sky doesn't show matches like Hearts v Rangers, remembering that it has also patched two recent Edinburgh derbies as well.
Fucking scumbags.

The Buns fucking telt last night anaw.
Meanwhile, both sides of the Old Firm coming together in the replies here. An absolutely tragic 'rivalry'.

They were all utterly convinced we would be in a relegation fight at this point (as we're some of us).
Outside of pulling wings off flies their only other interest is what Hibs are doing.....
We'll probably skelp you into the bottom six again when we play in April, or if you manage to slither to sixth spot we'll at least get to pummel you at Tynecastle after the split. No bad outcomes, tbh.

The battle for third was alive and kicking just the other day. Guess that'll be it back off now.
Only game Hibs have a hope of winning in their next five is when they play Killie at home.

Midfield could be light for this with Haring, Baningime, and possibly Halliday and Devlin out.
I'd like to see us not concede a cheap early goal.
Start Snodgrass and Grant and get on the front foot. Whenever we get a result at home to the Old Firm it's because we've not given them time to breath and pressed them. Granted, Devlin would be useful in that regard.
