While his numbers are impressive they pretty much start from late December, before that it wasn’t so pretty. Not saying he’s going to be another Hastie but he ended up a millionaire for a 5 month purple patch.
He's 1 goal behind Miovski, who has played a lot more minutes - I wonder if Aberdeen fans are going on about it "was all scored before x month"

I definitely don't dispute it's unlikely but when you've been on runs of 2 wins in 20 one season and 1 in 18 the next, you're aware the wheels can come off very quickly!
But we've drawn a shit ton in that time and that be enough for safety

Aye, winger/forward type. Be interesting to see how Kettlewell fits him into his system next season.
We have Blair Spittal's replacement.

Yeah, that won't be the title if it is being released/marketed in the US

If McCafferty is right a couple of things...
1. Someone at Fir Park needs sacked, and probably worse
2. Well Society can not request any protections and believe they will hold up under any scrutiny as they'd be so low in ownership % after the deal it be laughable to expect anyone to listen to them.
3. The last thing Motherwell need is a Wrexham kind of "investment"... here's some money, we want it back, plus 3% over base rate on top of that

Biggest issue with the split. Our media partners completely undersell it. For the 2nd time in 3 years we go into a match where results could see us start the split, 6th or 7th or 8th. Last time we were involved about 5 different teams could make top 6...

I'm sure the "guidance" is it's encroachment if any part of a players foot is within the box, which includes their foot touching the line, and they then affect play in the aftermath of the save.
So if Gent was touching the line of the box when the kick was taken then it shouldve been ruled as encroachment, according to joyless bores who love VAR as it brings everything down to millimeters.
If Gent is touching the line when the penalty was taken, then fair do's to him, his agility is second to none in world football as in the screenshot provided to prove "encroachment" he's pretty far away from the line with his foot when the ball is on it's way towards goal.
Be more intetested in the player nearest. But there are about 4 Dundee players encroaching. Worst case for Motherwell it's a re-take.

I genuinely remembered it as 19 league games (half a season) without a win, need to go back to the fixture list.
If we end on the same points as Dundee then Dundee would have had just as bad a season as us.

We're fucking sublime at getting points from a losing position... imagine what we could do if we stop getting into those positions before deciding to turnup.

Ye cannae call Wilkinson fine. An absolute mega bust and hunted within 6 months tells you the story. Same as Danzaki.
Fine as came as a free, and we got compensation for moving him out..

I’m not saying you should, this has just stemmed from me guessing why Clement is frustrated with the injury. It was nothing to do with Motherwell or to seek any validation.
It is to do with Motherwell as he accused them of going out and injurying a Rangers player - one that only has himself to blame for his injury.

Hghlights are on BBC1 in about 15 mins if you missed them earlier, or just simply want to watch them again.
Recorded. I may watch them a few times...

Considering the long winless run that Well had earlier in the season, General Zod now has them in contention for the top six.
What a bizarre league, although it shows that sacking the manager early isn't always the answer.
The difference really is at no point have we seen Motherwell this season and thought "yeah, Kettlewell is done he's lost the players".

It's more than occasional in my view. It baffles me how SOD gets the criticism when Bevis is a bomb scare. I think he's a great guy but he's been a loose cannon too many times in my view
You don't think Mugabi gets criticsm? For being by far our best central defender he is probably our most criticised player. At start of season all we got was Butcher has to hurry back...
Until we find someone to play central in a 3 then Mugabi has to stay - as none of our other defenders are close to being as good as Mugabi (unless there is a youth waiting in the wing)

The stuff about the no win record was ridiculous as usual. A stat portraying Motherwell in it's worst possible light. Wasn't it 6 draws and 9 defeats sandwiched between two wins.
So it could be read as 2 wins, 6 draws and 9 defeats in 17 games or alternatively in it's worst possible light: no win in 15 games. Horrible.
We have already drawn more games this season than any season since 2009/10. We are on course to lose a similar amount as we normally would (if current form continues)...

Love this stuff, we get one good result against the bottom team in the league and one set of fans has always known that everying will be ok and the manager is a good guy who will turn it round while everyone else has been over reacting over the horrendous non win record that we have and the man in charge being unable to do anything about the same defensive mistakes being made game after game.
Maybe some of us realise the game isn't a win/loss ratio ranking - it's not a US Sport.

I’m absolutely amazed that the biggest threat to the continuation of #TB3 is Aberdeen. Motherwell are fucking garbage.
Not sure where Motherwell will be come split or by end of season but we'll be above Dundee, St Johnstone, Ross County and Livingston at least.
Aberdeen or Hibs or both is the question.

Also anyone who is confused about how we're still in with a shot of being top 6 come the split, go and look at the losses of the teams in our league, specifically 5th, 6th, 7th... and then look at ours...

Proven wrong until results start to wrong again basically then at which point you'll be right again?
Wouldn't it be easier just to take a longer view. Fan's can be so short sighted, I get that it's an emotional game, but f**k me. It just goes to show that for fans the only thing is results.
If they went by actual results and not status of results, no one would have wanted Kettlewell sacked tbh...

People need to remember budgets as well. Celtic make a sub, and their quality will remain the same, or get better. We can't do that.
Unfortunately not helped by a poor decision by the manager don't help. Casey's back up Blaney, anyone that thinks any other defender is better than Mugabi at the no nonesense centre half position hasn't been paying attention, so why shuffle to get Butcher in when Blaney is right there?
Meanwhile, I'm not saying Oli Shaw for Lennon Miller is the biggest downgrade the world of sport has ever seen, but it is, by far the biggest downgrade ever seen .

Rearranging our whole back line to accommodate Butcher was a dumb move. If Casey was hurt we should have brought Blaney on.
Yep. As Mugabi is a by far our best DC, and Blaney is a natural fit at DLC.

Fair point but I think Butcher for Casey was the real turning point. And people want Mugabi dropped for that one
