    League Cup 2nd round tie tonight between Tynecastle and Musselburgh will go ahead as planned. No issues with the pitch. this eagerly awaited tie should be a cracker and deserves a big crowd. the action at Meggetland gets under way at 7.30pm. This will be Tynecastle’s first competitive match since 28th January!

    Score from this morning’s friendly at South Queensferry. Crossgates 3-7 Tynecastle conditions at the start we’re not too bad but got worse as game went on. a good workout for both teams.

    Tynecastle very unlucky to lose this match. deserved to take tie to extra time at least.

    Tynecastle played very well and unlucky not to take the tie to extra time or further. Tynecastle on top first 20 mins but East Kilbride controlled the rest of the half when they scored their goal. the second half was very even but last 15 minutes Tynecastle were all over their opponents without creating many clear cut chances. proud of the team and the way they played. Bring on Saturday and an away match against the second placed team in Inverkeithing.

    Just a reminder that the postponed SFA Youth Cup tie between Tynecastle and Hibernian will be played at Saughton Enclosure, this Sunday 9th October at 2pm . Entrance is £5 for Adults and £3 for under 16's and concessions.
