  1. gonna be a long season……. or not when I get pumped very quickly every game
  2. I honestly don’t mind going out, it’s my own fault, there’s no excuse for running out of time I just lost track with a hectic day at work. i appreciate the offer of a rematch, i have accepted the invite but if any objections, to protect the integrity of the league/cup I will happily resign and stand aside!
  3. The castlemilk going morning rumour has been going a while tbf, and has been coming out of those involved at OBC. Iv also heard Oban apparently going to the GG.
  4. Out of those 100 I would assume a good number are comps, and whatever dodgy deals they have to our season ticket holders to entice them in. Be lucky if 50% were full price paying punters!
  5. Cup result pleslie999 loses to @Curmudgeon by timeout. apologies, got snowed under with work today and totally lost track. Was totally out of ideas anyway and would’ve been shuffling pieces around until you inevitably stuck me in a completely lost position. Well played and cheers for the game. Good luck in the final.
  6. If all these top players are returning it’s only fair that I relinquish my promotion and go back to where I rightfully belong. The 2nd tier!
  7. I continue to watch and it continues to anger me for many reasons. 1. Alan sugar (can shove his lordship up his arse) is a c**t 2. Karen Brady is a c**t 3. the candidates are all c***s 4. the candidates are all useless 5. it’s getting more and more staged to make tv rather than being good at business
  8. Can only assume the pitch is in some nick considering the rain we’ve had this week. If it goes ahead it will be a mud bath surely
  9. Just wondering what time of bombs are allowed if only some are not?
  10. I agree with you and as iv mentioned regardless of statements, something will need to give with regards to current lets. no one can blame St Pats for being ambitious and wanting a steady home. If the council can save a few quid and not have to worry about the facility then it makes sense. There’s nothing stopping DU or Riverside individually or collectively applying to take over a facility in the area. Presumably St Pats would need to find staff costs and maintenance so it maybe does depend on them getting into WoS. That being said I heard there’s a good chance of that happening this season. I reckon if they got into WoS they would surpass the VoL in terms of league position and support within 2 seasons and be chasing us down to be the big boys in the town the way things are going.
  11. Extending his contract doesn’t necessarily cost anything if he remains on the same terms as before, it’s just more secure for him over a longer period.
  12. St pats have issued a statement saying that EEP is only 1 of 2 possible venues they have been offered by the council. They also mentioned that no one would be put out of their lets (albeit some no doubt would be asked to move to accommodate St Pats. Whatever folk think of them, St Pats are keen to progress into senior football and have made big strides in doing so. They have a big support (just turn up to one of their games to see this) and this would undoubtedly grow if they get into the WoS. Ultimately the council are skint so if they can offload one of these pitches then it will save them money in the long run. it’s happening everywhere, look at Glasgow where a load of the Glasgow life facilities have been handed to WoS clubs to run and develop. Nethercraigs, Donald Dewar, Stepford, crownpoint and greenfields.
