Info on McKenna from Berwick Rangers website. Michael became the ‘Gers joint-first Summer recruit in 2015, arriving alongside ‘keeper Kevin Walker from then-Championship side Livingston. A regular in 15/16, the midfielder made 38 appearances across all competitions; featuring in the centre of the park, left of midfield and also as a forward. Having racked up 16 yellow cards last season McKenna’s aggressive nature is seen more as positive by ‘Gers boss John Coughlin, who rewarded Michael’s tenacity with a deal lasting until 2018 in May 2016. Hopefully he will be a good signing. In my opinion, another of their players Kevin McKinlay would be a decent option for a left back or left wing back but I doubt that will happen. I remember him being decent for Berwick and Stirling Albion.

What position does McKenna play? Attacking Midfielder? We have McCord, Swankie and others for that position. Good luck to the guy anyway and hope he improves the team.

Has McKenna signed to play now or is it a pre-singing deal for next season as per previous mentions. I would have preferred to see another defender signed as backup and to put pressure on Hammy so that his performances can improve.

Dick really needs to drop Hammy. He has been poor for a while and you could see he struggled today, not only with defending but passing too. We need to bring a player in who can challenge him for his position in the team.

He is being offered a lot of money in the championship though so it is more likely that he will stay in that league. Doesn't mean we cannot match what they are paying or that Dick cant persuade him. We shall soon see what happens.

Yeah, agree with what you say. Wouldn't want to lose 3 strikers in the 1 window. Although Dick plays Midfielders upfront anyway so what is the difference hahaha.

I'd like to see us try and sign Alan Trouten from Albion Rovers. He is a midfielder and is currently top scorer in the league with 14 goals. I wonder if Leighton MacIntosh will actually get a contract with us or if he is only here until we get Dick's main target's in January. Hester is going on loan to Montrose according to his own words. I'd release Prunty as his wage could be used for someone who will actually get game time.

I see Nathan Austin has been released by Falkirk. Anyone think he might be a decent addition to our strike force?

Confirmed that Malin has signed for Edinburgh City. Today's game will be without Gomes, Hammy and Whatley.

No real loss if Malin leaves as there is too much competition for the positions he plays.

Of course he is young. He is 22. Still progressing in the team. He would do better if we had a youth team but we don't but I still think he has a lot to offer the club.

I think it's shocking that people a digging into Hester. He is young and offers someone different from the other strikers and I am very happy he is in our squad.

You need them in the squad as subs, rotation, in case of injuries etc. I think they should all stay. Would be fine if Malin went on loan though.

I also don't think we should complain that we have too many players as this is a good situation for the team and will keep everyone on theirs toes to person their best to get in the starting 11. We need cover for CB, LB and GK. See that Craig Watson signed for East Fife.
