Hello Hibees! Do any of you know what the latest is with Scott Martin at Hibs? Do you know if he is staying, leaving on loan or leaving permanently? Would love him back at Arbroath if he were available. I have been keeping an eye on your team sheets this season and he has been close to breaking into the first team. He should have a brilliant future ahead of him. Cheers in advance for any info/gossip.

Hopefully he goes nowhere with 6 goals in 9 games. Break that down to minutes played and it's s brilliant record so far this season.

Great performance from the team. I am always looking at where we can improve though. Denholm seems to be a weak player when positioned in the left wing back position but when changed to a 4-4-2 he plays better as a winger. I hope he keeps improving as I still to not think he has gotten back to his best since his injury. Wallace was better tonight but he really needs to improve on his set pieces. He either crosses it too short or too far but blames other players for not getting into the positions where eh puts the ball. If he improves there and cuts out his falling about and constant moaning at the refs then his overall game will improve I hope. There were not really any other weaknesses which is superb. Hopefully we will continue this form into the league.

It's obvious that with the team we have we are lacking a goalscorer. Wallace in my opinion is not good enough for the team and doesn't fit our style of play because he plays deeper. His set pieces are poor and he doesn't score enough. Dont get me started on him sitting on the ground and whingeing though....... McKenna was and still is a brilliant signing for us and shows it every week. He has a big engine in him to run all over the park and is currently a stand out performer for the team but he is currently lacking goals in his game. Hester is a breathe of fresh air when he plays as it is not often we have a striker who likes to run with the ball at goal with pace to score goals. He can be a good poacher for goals and often we notice when crosses come in, we are missing players in the box but Hester is usually in that position. He is a hard worker and I would rather see him play 60 minutes of a game rather than the last 30 minutes as he is always involves in goal scoring opportunities. Obviously we are know about Doris and can't wait for for his return to fitness. Hopefully we will have more goals in the team soon.

Joe Cardle has left Dunfermline. Would be worth a punt to try sign him if his wage demands are not too high.

Their new manager was their assistant manager so it shouldn't be too different. Maybe that £5k trainer/dietician will happen for McCord. Let's wait and see.......

He would be a decent signing too. Scott Robertson from Raith won't be signing. He has retired and taken up a role with the under 18s at Dundee United.
