Is there any transfer gossip? Seems a bit quiet at our end however with most of the squad already signed maybe it will be mostly loan deals which will happen later in the transfer window.

I agree with you. Donnelly was totally off the mark on Tuesday night but hopefully Hilson and Wighton can compensate for that.

Transfer business complete? With 5 out and 3 in are we happy with the squad now or do we need another player in? Do we have sufficient cover for defensive positions?

Hilson has been given the No.9 shirt. Read into that what you wish but I do not think squad numbers necessarily mean where a player will be playing as I cannot see Hilson as a target man. It will be interesting to see where he fits in and who is dropped to fit him in. Good luck to him anyway.

What about Nathan Austin from Kelty? He has scored 30 goals for them in the league this season. I say he'd be worth a go but might be a big jump up to the Championship, however he did play for Inverness previously.

Ashame that those fans who are interested do not get an insight to those details when we are unable to make meetings.

Not been on here for a while. Interested to know if we have been linked with any players for loan deals?

We need a player who can play left back and left mid who will put pressure on Hammy and Linn to get the best out of them. Hammy can be a back up for centre defence so this player could slot into left back if Hammy was needed to move position. Also need a Striker. Not sure who is available but need a really good goal poacher / target man with pace and an eye for goal. A Centre midfielder is needed who can command the centre of the park. I can see McKenna being used as a Striker again until we sign another striker. Even though I think he is a fantastic player he doesn't score enough. Its simple as that, we need more goals. McGuigan could be a good shout. Aside from that, I am not sure who there is but it will probably be a loan deal. As long as it is not a failing like the wee guy we got from Dumbarton a couple seasons ago. Know of any players who would be a good shout to get on loan?

Tbh he does need a kick to the bawz Harsh! Trouten is an attacking midfielder though.

Wouldnt mind seeing Trouten sign for us. He scrores a lot for being a midfielder. Doubt he'll leave Alloa though.
