  1. I am sure the coaches and physios you have sacked today are overjoyed at that sentiment and before you jump in I am in no doubt that it will happen at Tynecastle as well although I hope it doesn’t
  2. I thought your owner was a multi millionaire ? Although with Hibs announcement tonight it doesn’t look like he wants to put his own money in to support you through this tough time. He would appear to prefer to sack staff, who may really struggle to get other jobs just now, rather than support these individuals who have given many years service to Hibs. The point is most clubs will have to cut back and make some unpleasant decisions so don’t try and take the moral high ground. if we have to go to benefactors to keep the staff who run the club day to day in jobs, I have no issue with that.
  3. Is that really what you want .. Hearts to go to the wall ? or are you just trying to wind up more Jambos ?
  4. Think that was used to justify their decision making... they should just come out and be completely honest and say we are doing this and we don’t care if it stuffs some clubs up .. that’s just the way the cookie crumbles.. life can be horrible at times !!!
  5. St Johnstone could have won out which would have seen an eventual Europa League title win and all the derived wealth of such an enterprise. Broon better be on to the local solicitors ASAP since it's a free for all. The SPFL could do the decent thing and distribute the sky money equally among all the clubs for one season for the good of the Scottish game ?
  6. Have they treated everyone the same ? Patrick have been relegated and haven’t played the same number of games as their nearest rivals so they haven’t been treated the same. I am not sure there was a fairer way to do things tbh but think if the SPFL recognised the damage to particular clubs (the relegated ones) but also including sides such as Kelty and Brora who have been refused a promotion opportunity and agreed compensation then much of the fallout could of been avoided as when it comes down to it, it is all about money. then again that’s probably doubtful !
  7. QOS won one more game than them.. the game in hand maybe ? .. both were rubbish .. and yes they ‘probably’ would of went down but I still think it is incredibly unfair what has happened to them and Scottish football should make them a special case and compensate them .. but that’s only my opinion
  8. You are kidding .. they were 2 points behind with a game in hand... not exactly very fair is it.. I would hope they would be suitably compensated for their misfortune or would you prefer to give them a good kick as well while they are down ?
  9. That will be the next item which will give everyone a laugh.. I would fully expect no promotion from the championship next season as Premier league teams will claim 27 games is not a valid season and therefore disallow promotion and relegation.
  10. I think Hearts should just accept our medicine, agree a healthy compensation package and get on with it. The whole thing is getting boring now and we are not the team who have been treated the poorest in this saga .. that would be Partick whose treatment by the rest of the league has been shocking. Their board has been pretty spot on with their communications where we have came across as a bit desperate.
  11. I don’t think I did suggest she had it sussed.. I just suggested she offered a suggestion which I admitted was a clear attempt at keeping Hearts up. Scottish football appears in crisis and I don’t see anyone coming up with anything which looks like it is for the greater good of the game.. she’s had her shot, most people think it is crap, let’s move on and see someone else come up with something which will move all teams forward.
  12. I think Anne Budge’s proposal is a clear attempt to keep Hearts up and ultimately we deserve to go down... my worry is what are we actually going to go down to with suggestions of an mouth balled season or 18/20 game season for divisions below the Premier League. For me I would of preferred her proposal to focus on how the bigger clubs could of supported the smaller clubs financially to get them through the next couple of seasons. Something radical like sharing all prize and tv money equally between all 42 clubs. It would be interesting to see if any of the Premier league teams would step up and share any TV money they receive for next season among all 42 clubs equally rather than keep the lions share amongst themselves. We should be thinking about the scottish game as a whole.. if sharing all the cash out equally meant Hearts got a smaller parachute payment but helped some of the smaller clubs survive then so be it. This may have also helped support clubs like QOS start the season without fans coming through the gate. That may also have helped gain some support for any reconstruction from clubs in the lower divisions.
  13. Once everything has calmed down, I look forward to the SPFL or other clubs coming up with a sensible solution which will allow all clubs to play possibly from August behind closed doors if that is the only option. It appears most clubs just want score points against other clubs with little or no thought to how football will resume. It is always easy to dismiss other people’s suggestions but a lot harder to put forward solutions. Whilst Anne Budges suggestion is a clear attempt to save Hearts from relegation, there has been a deafening silence from others on the way forward for next season and anyone who thinks that the current structure will magically restart in August / September is living in a different world. If the Premier league restarts and the other divisions don’t then Hearts will just have to live with that no matter how much we moan and groan.
  14. 5 goals in 13 games is rubbish and criticism is absolutely due so I can’t argue with that
  15. And Nicky Faulds was a pretty decent player in his time who if you did go down the route of playing the kids in the 20s would be the kind of player you would want around but that’s only an opinion through watching him at Arniston and knowing where he played previously
