That's understandable. However, I'd say (pretty strongly) the majority of the UK has above average Internet speeds. Whether you want to spend that or not is up to the individual. I get 500 up and down for £32 a month but its a very hard to come by company.

That's a fair enough point. But going back to the OP about Returnal. I just upgraded to a pretty good package on Thursday. It was a 15GB patch that took me about 6 mins. If 15GB is taking 4 hours I'd be getting a new package immediately.

I'd argue that modern gaming goes hand in hand with modern internet!

Due to the fandom around the first game, it appears to be not to everyone's liking really. Got review bombed quite hard. It says a lot other games won't do, even has a character getting barebacked! (I couldn't think of another game I've seen that happen in as much detail)

Completed The Last of Us Part 2 last night. Played it on release but wasn't what I was needing at the time. Have to admit, despite the controversy and some false claims about trans characters, that game is pretty good. There's some issues regarding story telling but I enjoyed it in the structure they used. Gameplay wise, it is fantastic. I've seen a lot of arguments about "it's not fun". I think there is fun to be found in this game, each to their own. But I don't have an issue with games not being 'fun', I appreciated Naughty Dog being given the license to be gritty and explore unorthodox themes for a game.

This is going to be another 4/5/6 to nil victories for the home side then.

Finished this last night. Not much of a side missions guy but once they roll out the PS5 patch I'll more than happily go back and do a different ay through. I enjoyed it thoroughly, bugs and crashes aside. I got what's considered the shite ending but I thought it was a really good way to end the game for me personally, quite an emotional one too.

Been a decent 24 hours or so.

Had Beware the Bear e/w today, 5 places, returned 33 at 28s. Sake race I had a few 50p comb FC, one of which paid £54 quid. Also lost my fucking shit as I did the same with a combination tricast with the eventual top 3, checked it on the app and the race had just started and I didn't get it on. £1 paid £1500....
