  1. Luke Leahy is a huge loss even if we do have Gallagher for back up. Losing Sibbs as previously mentioned would be another major loss as much of our best play in the last 3 years have come down the left hand side. Not surprised to see McHugh shown the door too. For me, Baird, Kidd, Kerr, Miller, Watson and McKee could all join that list, Watson and McKee due to lack of games due to being injury prone. Time for a major clear out for me, Baird, Miller and Kerr all past their best. I don't know why we should be persisting with players who cannot last a full 90 mins. We need to maximise our resources if we seriously want to win this league this year, its quality over quantity.
  2. Yes, forgot you managed to get out the Championship this season. But I wonder how long it'll be before them green seats become visible again? It's easy to crow after a successful season but you have a very short memory. Wasn't that long ago you were playing to half full stadiums Best of luck in the top tier though
  3. A load of Shite and you're at the wind up here. I'm sure you'd have plenty to say if your fans were subjected to this. I could see the point if there was a huge demand for home tickets and the stadium was likely to be sold out but to turn customers away from any business is ludicrous. It's a huge game for both sets of supporters who many have followed their team home and away all season... Is this really the best way to treat people willing to travel midweek on a 100+ miles round trip? This is Scottish football at its worst and then you wonder why the game is dying a death here. No wonder the bulk of games come compete with empty seats all over the place, football fans are fed up being treated like imbeciles and this is another example. Where do you draw the line then, what if we were to give DU zero tickets, would that be acceptable? Why should Falkirk care about Dundee United fans?
  4. This doesn't surprise me tbh... Not like our BOD to turn up their noses up at a couple of extra quid. Have DU given any reasons why only 1500 tickets when they'll likely be empty seats? This is nonsense, no wonder Scottish football is a total joke, can't understand why the authorities don't get involved in ticket allocation to ensure fairness, we should give them the same proportion as they have given us. Tooth for a tooth! Totally disgusted
  5. I've said this and been slaughtered here in the past. There are many things wrong with Scottish football. For me there are too many poorly supported teams in the top tier, ICT, Hamilton, Killie, St Johnstone, Ross County, Partick, these teams bring little to the table in terms of home and particularly away support. No one is claiming that they don't merit being up there, it just means fewer people watch or are interested in our top league. I always wondered how these teams manage to survive given their lower support Good to see Rangers, Hearts and Hibs back up there, hopefully us or DU back up there next season.
  6. Shower of shysters then, knew it[emoji849]
  7. Never forgive their supporters the day they relegated us in 2010 goading us from the park etc...we relegated ICT the year earlier, treated them with some dignity and respect but then again, we are Falkirk!
  8. Saying that I loathe Killie and their fans!
  9. Nevertheless it's a great piece of business one way or another. We probably couldn't afford him anyway. It is a sign that they are gearing up for a title push next season. Like you, I believe they have little chance in going up in the play offs. I feel we need to throw the kitchen sink at the play offs literally because I feel next year will be tougher with a rejuvenated St Mirren, probably ICT, stronger Dunfermline and Morton, potentially one of the Premier teams coming down looking like Hamilton or Motherwell in the mix too, plus you can imagine QOS or Raith if they survive cant be as bad as this season. If we don't go up this year, we need to spend, trying to get up via the play offs is not the correct option in my eyes. We have a history of not spending and trying to get their on the cheap. Rangers, Hearts and Hibs have all gone in the last three seasons so no excuses, surely we can compete on spending terms in the Championship next year with the teams mentioned, if we can't...surely we need to make major changes at boardroom level or we will find ourselves lanquishing in this division for a few more years to come.
  10. Nah can't agree, there seems no deliberative scheme for me. Morton and DU were level at 1-1 and we looked clueless against Dumbarton. I dont think we looked like cutting them opened
  11. I would feel confident if we were sweeping teams aside but I feel we barely beating teams who have little to play for. We need to stop these shitebaggery tactics and gets stuck in... We need to beat Morton/DU first of course
  12. Yeah but Kerr assisted Leahy, I think McKee assisted Kerr and so on[emoji3]
  13. Yes...we may beat one but what about the other 10 players in the other team[emoji3] Admire your confidence, need to be much better than the last few games. QOS and Dumbarton were both poor displays
  14. Cheers let's hope that they tell us soon
  15. When will we know if the Dumbarton game is an all ticket affair? It's is probably the poorest FFC support on the away circuit each year and that includes both games I bet you it won't be that quiet this time!
  16. Yes I do. I suppose it's up to Sheps to take his chance when he gets it. Who knows, if we get a new striker in it may be Sheps he clicks with? I would like to see Austin and Sheps up front. Maybe if we secure 2nd spot Saturday, may be a good option if nothing to play for v. Dumbarton
  17. For next season irrespective of what league we are in, I would keep Austin, O Hara, Shepherd and Miller. I would let Baird and Mc Hugh go Rory Loy could be an option, not sure about his contract situation, I'd take one recognised striker plus the 4 I mentioned. I think Shepherd deserves one more season to prove himself once and for all. He's been impressive last couple of time he came on as sub, if he doesn't make an impact next season he's had his chance
  18. Sssssshhhh... Don't start this again, it was going away
  19. Can't disagree, Houston mentioned it 2 or 3 times after the game during interviews. I accept we were dead on our feet but that Killie team was the most aggressive I'd seen that season and remember that included Rangers and Hibs. They were aggressive and bullied us all over the park that day. I don't think as a team we have addressed this issue, it could be argued we are weaker in terms of physicality due to the sale of Will Vaulks. I think we can compete but we are still on the light side if we need sheer brutality.
  20. Looking at the play offs, it would be Hamilton for me too but I know this wouldn't be easy. I'm assuming of course that we get past the Arabs and whoever else. We have a much bigger squad this year but I still feel we lack that physicality that let us down last year, men against boys was the order of the day at Rugby Park if I recall correctly. Let's hope Killie were a one off last year.
  21. He has become a bit of liability on the ground and we're fortunate not to be getting punished for some of the recent howlers. Different story in the air however where he and big Grantsy would header their grannies into kingdom come if need be [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
  22. Play off time is almost upon us again. Looking at the Premier League Table, it's hard to predict who will end up in the second bottom play off spot, ICT look doomed here. Now that Hartley has left Dundee, they could be a good bet to finish second bottom, but then again Motherwell have been flirting with the play offs over the last few seasons and Hamilton are also a tough nut to crack. That 7-0 at Ross County is still in my mind. One thing for sure, after last season's attempt, I would take anyone lightly despite their current league position
  23. I have been critical of the stadium and the atmosphere in the past... In reality I think we have a God damn cheek. When you consider some of the shit hole stadiums we've visited like Ayr, Morton, Dumbarton, QOS, Alloa, Cowdenbeath etc. We really consider ourselves fortunate to have such a great stadium. Sometimes the grass is never greener on the other side. Just my opinion
