Great bit of business. Hodson is definitely a better player than Paul McGinn and offers similar versatility. Gives us six months to find a longer term option for the right back position as well which Paul McGinn never should have been if we are looking to progress. If we can get a small fee for McGinn and Hodson plays to his ability in this six months then we will have done very well here.

I've seen this phrase used a couple of times by reliable posters in the last week, which makes me think we must have a belter up our sleeves. If we were just signing anyone I doubt everyone would be being so cryptic. Fingers crossed I am correct

Am I wasting my time checking this every 10 minutes or should we expect some announcements today?

There was a team of French out of contract players over training and staying at the University of Stirling last week and they played a series of bounce games, one of which was against Alloa and was being watched by many professional teams. I might be wrong but I think they beat Alloa 3-1. I'm guessing the trialists were picked up from there with the obvious exception of Longrdige and Djorkaeff. If they showed up well in those bounce games then they were worth a look in amongst the squad. By all accounts none of them were good enough so we move on, nothing to worry about.
