    65k on mine.
Peugeot originally warrantied them at 100k, but seemingly in 2021 they cut it back to 40k!

They got a new supplier now, which seems to have helped, but the earlier models like mine had some real bother with belts breaking up, blocking the oil channels and causing pressure loss.

The sump strainer on mine before

    new one after

Was thinking around the 60k mark. I'm only a 8,000 miles a year kinda guy so hopefully a couple of years down the line if it doesn't just start to perish with age etc. I use a local guy who is very reasonable for all my servicing and mot so will just get him to keep an eye on it and check it regularly. Looks like it made some mess in that first pic.

The wet timing belt is what is in my 308 - Just had it replaced, full system flushed out, new strainer fitted as the old one was full of bits of perished belt.

    £850

awful design tbh, all to save a couple of % at most on fuel economy - from what I understand some models of Transit van also have it and it's costing even more to get them done.

Ooft. I know its far from the only factor, but after roughly how many miles was this? Just trying to gauge how long I might get before mine needs done. Roughly around 30k just now so hopefully a wee while yet.

Know couple people with them and they've had no end of trouble.

I got a Grandland back in November, then had a few folk tell me horror stories about them after the fact. I know feck all about cars but it appears the main issue with these models is around them having a 'wet timing belt' set up that can be a bit dodgy and wreck the engine if it goes. Hopefully just a matter of keeping an eye on it for any deterioration and acting quickly in getting it replaced.

No complaints with it so far, pretty comfortable drive and surprisingly economical on fuel. Happy driving @scottsdad

The new page layout for scores and fixtures on the bbc website.

The BBC's general disinterest in Scottish football is a joke. On match day mornings you can generally click on an individual fixture in any of England's top few divisions and get a preview including the usual squad updates, recent results between the two sides, promotion or relegation relevance of the result etc. Even just now at 5am there's a full preview of all Premier League fixtures. Up here you usually get fk all until about an hour before kick off when the team lines are announced.

I mean, our clubs have press conferences in the days leading up to games the same as English ones do, and I'm presuming the BBChave a presence at them, so how hard is it to give us the same basic service? Cnuts.

  5. Not content with just sullying the reputation of Scots abroad with this shite in Benidorm. they've latched onto the idea and started it in recent years in Marmaris too, down by the beach where their shitey token 'Ibrox Bar' is. Scumbags.

We went to Menorca when I was 8 or 9 and we got to Edinburgh Airport and there was a family of 4 checking in front of us. The dad had a full Celtic tracksuit on with matching polo, the mum had a Celtic top on and the two wee boys had full kits on.

On the return journey they had different tracksuits/shirts/kits on but still looked like the Celtic club shop had threw up on them. Almost like it was their official family travel attire

I mentioned a similar situation on another thread a while back. On holiday in Turkey and the Da of a family who had a balcony on the first floor overlooking the pool/entertainment area would appear there every night wearing a different piece of club merchandise. Even saw him in restaurants at night wearing it. Embarrassing doesn't come close.

Sad, sad stuff that people feel that a football club is their whole identity and think anyone else is remotely interested in this cringey as fcuk behaviour. As per my previous post though, it makes it very easy for the rest of us to identify and avoid the cretins..

    A green n grey shirt, I'm shocked.

99%* of adults turning up for flights wearing football colours are wrong 'uns. If they were all prevented from getting as far as even checking-in, then these incidents would be greatly reduced. Ban that cnut from air travel for life.

*Due to a lack of official figures this number may be factually inaccurate and, in fact, closer to 100%.

That's mental. So many questions, considering this has been a known scam since I was a kid. Off to look for a video about how it works in the UK.

Aye, it's crazy that these schemes, much like ponzi style ones, are still so prevalent today considering folk have been being duped by them for 40 years or more. Back in the day you used to see those chancers with the dodgy scratchcards in Spanish resorts pretending to gullible punters that they'd won a fantastic prize, before bundling them into a taxi to some out of town hotel and pressuring them into signing deals they really did not want or were too goof to be true. I even remember seeing some other holidaymakers trying to tell a couple who had 'won' not to go but, despite those intervening being threatened with violence for interfering by the scumbags, they still bowed to their pressure and got in the taxi.

The whole thing exploded around then and there were constant horror stories in the press of folk losing thousands and being locked in worthless deals. The sheer size of some of these companies still at it is mind boggling.

Even crazier than all that is the fact that the financial burden of parents' monumentally stupid decisions to invest in such shite can be foisted upon their entirely innocent and often unknowing offspring through inheritance. Disgusting.

I saw the Championship team yesterday and wondered if Bair might get a sniff, maybe he has timed his run brilliantly.

I honestly think that all his stars may have aligned and this could well be the case.

Along with this recognition from his fellow pro's, another couple of goals before the end of the season will undoubtedly attract attention from down South and he has all the physical attributes to succeed in those leagues. A million quid is chicken feed down there nowadays and represents nothing more than a punt to many of them, so a 7 figure bid would be no surprise (and very welcome for a player who cost us virtually zero outlay).

Quite a lot of heavy looking showers on the south bank of the river today but nothing massive on the Dundee side so far...

Forecast for the afternoon is a 40% chance of moderate rain showers between now and 4pm. Still time for a banter outcome!

Biggest banter outcome would be game on and Rangers getting pumped, because no matter how that defeat came about, the tears and snotters post match meltdown would blame the pitch regardless.

    Get it fucking Done Dee's!!

County will fancy their chances at Livingston and home to Hibs so if we lose in Aberdeen there's a fair bit of pressure on not fucking up v Livingston. And tbh I'd rather have had St J earlier for another chance at getting the points on the board sooner.

But still, fact remains we're in a very strong position and it'd be criminal to f**k it up from here.

I definitely don't dispute it's unlikely but when you've been on runs of 2 wins in 20 one season and 1 in 18 the next, you're aware the wheels can come off very quickly!

Relax lads, there are no up's being fucked from this point.

As we all know our defence is shite but we score goals. I'd like to see us just go all out taking it to teams and playing some carefree, expansive fitba in the last 5 games. I could handle a couple of entertaining 4-3 or 5-4 defeats if the result goes our way in similar fashion in the others. Of course that won't happen with with those below us fighting to avoid 11th. It'll be the usual scrappy fayre with us comfortably collecting the few points required to guarantee our continued path towards 40 consecutive top flight seasons. A helluva achievement in itself.
