The boy King has been given one hell of a raw deal here - would normally be phased in gradually, dipping out occasionally whilst starting cup games. Being expected to hold an (already shaky) defence together in the CL with next to no experience of playing professional football - never mind European football, isn't ideal. A bit like Stephen Welsh for us in the Covid season - spared of the usual patience folk have with young players due to being thrown in as the main CB at a high pressure time.
