  1. Honest question to anyone who saw all four. How many were deserved or were close enough to go either way.
  2. Did he really get through EF’s interview process. To everyone who pledged undying love to him - you have been well and truly cuckolded
  3. I have never criticised a performance on here before but that was atrocious. This is our second cup surrender of the season and must have a place in a top ten of EF’s most dismal performances. I am not even going to start trying to analyse where or why it went wrong but somehow the “we are not going to underestimate them” message never reached the players. I certainly hope it’s hurting them as much as it’s hurting me. Congratulations BSC Glasgow on realising this was a cup tie and wanting to win it. Time to go and sit in a dark room and avoid the world for a while
  4. Repeating myself but Hart had very few opportunities to use his defence and was kicking into a very strong wind. Yes he probably should have done better with the second but why not highlight the mistakes that others made leading up to it ? On a couple of occasions (and the goal was one of them) there was acres of space out wide.
  5. You post the same thing twice. You think you have the best midfield pairing in the league. You need to work on your credibility.
  6. Great win today and fully deserved. A real team performance so it was disappointing that more than a few individuals decided early on to get on Hart’s back with some booing and ironic cheers when he took a good goal kick. Raith were pushing up quite high early on leaving him to kick into a very strong wind. Probably the same people who would have had Higgins out the door a few weeks ago. Sad to say if not Higgins or Hart they will just target someone else. You will know who you are so get a life and support the team.
  7. Bit of a red face having a foreigner come on to explain development loans. When I read the previous posts I thought I was learning from the experts. Disillusioned to say the least.
  8. Obviously home and away fans see players and games differently but I thought Wedderburn was far from the worst Airdrie player on view and was surprised when he was taken off so early. You had decent spells in possession but didn’t look capable of scoring (apart from the wee Christmas present at the end)
  9. Forget the career as a financial adviser. After all the freebies and concessions, gate receipts will be nearer £25k than £40K
  10. So as an example the youngster brought in up front didn’t perform ? He got no support from mid-field, he got no support from Kevin who arguably should not have been on the park as he was so far off the pace. All in all a dismal night at Bayview made even worse by not getting a Carmel Wafer.
  11. So what was the manager’s decision ? Did he put out that team to win the game or lose the game ?
  12. Completely disagree. I don’t spend money and follow EF to see us humiliated by possibly the worst team in the leagues. Forget the diddy cup nonsense, it’s the only one EF have any chance of winning so why surrender. It was a game of football to be won but ended as an embarrassing defeat. A night of self inflicted bad selections and bad performances no more,no less.
  13. Come on 7/11 do you have the stamina to beat “last word” KK ? Do you have enough exclamation marks and question marks in your armoury ? Facts alone will not win you this one.
  14. This is from a failing memory but around 8+ years ago Eugene (I think) looked into this type of scheme as the Trust representative on the EF board. Can’t remember the details but at that time there were obstacles from HMRC /FCA which made it impractical to operate. It would seem financial regulations have relaxed as there are now various schemes operating but alas not at Bayview. p.s. during that brief excursion down memory lane, aided by red wine, I remember how much Derrick Brown and some subsequent Directors hated the Trust. Oh happy days ! p.s.
  15. Dowds - Boss, Higgins shouted at me and if he does it again I will never, ever be back at Bayview Boss - FFS Higgins do you know how many fans will never come back if you shout at your team mates and Dowds is devastated. Higgins - Sorry Boss I’ll apologise to Dowds and put something on Facebook pleading with T Zero not to go.
  16. East Fife Supporters' Trust will continue to produce a match programme on behalf of EFFC and our first edition will be a joint issue (due to printers holidays) for the Stenhousemuir and Hearts Betfred Cup games. The programme price wii be £2 as it has been for many season and is a feature packed 40 page issue. Articles include : Blast From The Past - One To Remember and One To Forget (covers both Stenhousemuir and Hearts) Ryan Wallace Interview. 100 Years Ago East Fife - On This Day A View From Section H (Scott Inglis) Denholm's Deiberations (Danny Denholm) Walking Football Scotland (Scottish Cup) Please help us keep the programme going by buying regularly
  17. Supporters Trust may just be a coincidental group name but Trusts as originally set up by Supporters Direct had the objective of buying shares to gain board membership. They have achieved board membership by handing over significant sums of money so in one sense they have achieved the objective (ends justify the means ?) . The fact there seems to be continual conflict between Board and Trust and that the Board seem to want to turn their back on easy money by “taking over” much of what the Trust we’re doing suggests the Board want as little interference in or knowledge of their business as possible. It must be said that what I know of the set-up is what I read on this thread.
  18. On Saturday hand everyone in the home support a piece of paper asking them to reply to KK with their thoughts or ideas on the club badge then on the following Saturday publish the results from the five who replied.
  19. The SPFL have painted themselves into a corner. Bohemians situation re. end of season etc was known and accepted by the SPFL and concessions made.so up until last week Bohemians have done nothing wrong and there are no grounds for expulsion from the competition. What needs to be considered is did Bohemians do enough to ensure the pitch was playable. A hard frost was forecast so at that point should have put contingency plans in place. Even if they didn’t have covers surely someone somewhere in Dublin could supply them.. Did they explore all the alternative venues ? If Bohemians didn’t try both these options ,and it’s difficult to believe there wasn’t a solution , then there is a genuine case for expulsion. Unfortunately even a Friday or even a Thursday postponement wouldn’t have helped those who had hotels booked as they would probably have travelled anyway but at least the Saturday in/out travellers would have had the option to decide on whether it was worth the bother or not. This is a mess and it is down to the SPFL rather than the clubs involved.
  20. Agree. It’s well documented social behaviour. When East Fife are on a losing run some fans have nothing to do with their time. When East Fife hit a wee bit of form they have better things to do. It’s known as Yer Maw Punts Cooncil Syndrome
  21. If the shirt logo is the same as his email address all the players will be wearing XXXXXL shirts.
  22. Very impressed at how, in one short post, you managed to include errors in grammar, spelling and punctuation.
  23. Just a plug for what’s happening at Bayview. Six months ago, if EF weren’t at home, nothing much was happening. Since September, 3 x 7-a-side and 3 x 5-a-side pitches are almost full every night of the week with youngsters and and adults playing or training. On Sunday FFTC and EF hosted the second Soccer Sixes festival and from 10.00-2.00 more than 300 youngsters played on the new pitch and 300-400 parents and families enjoyed food and drink in the club lounge. on Sunday coming there is a charity match in remembrance of Owen Nisbet a local 11 y.o. Who died recently after a short illness. Ex players from all four Fife teams will be playing and prior to the main match there will be a couple of 7-a-side games between Youth Academy and Kennoway teams with which Owen had been associated. FFTC are offering the pitch and EF the changing room facilities free of charge. The lounge and bar will be open for food and drinks. Bayview is turning into a real community asset.
