  1. A bit more frustrating because he’s not the first decent player to have that happen to us, Dylan Easton springs to mind.
  2. That’s what sticking by him and getting him fit again gets you.
  3. Listened to the owners meeting last night and noticed them say we have 6 coming on trial when pre season starts on Saturday. McLean has been at the exit trials so every chance at least a few are from them.
  4. I think Rennie could get double figures in league 2 and would be worth keeping. Also don’t want to be looking for a full front line.
  5. Josh Oyinsan left Peterhead, wouldn’t be surprised. Very surprised we got money for Doherty, 1 goal and generally poor play.
  6. Saturday 15th - accies home Tuesday 18th - cove away Tuesday 25th - Brechin home Saturday 29th - Livi away
  7. We were right to let Ally Love go last year, he was absolutely done at that level and wouldn’t be getting him back. In comparison to last year the signings are at least coming from better teams and not Gretna.
  8. Anyone with knowledge of the below banner please contact TJF -
  9. Great to be back… Hopefully start getting players signed up this week since McLean got the job on Friday.
  10. Whoever works with Howie ask him if he wants to come back after being released from Alloa.
  11. Imagine getting noised up by Nareys Toepoker on twitter
  12. St cadocs are the latest team to be backed, also signed Ronan Hughes who came through accies and had Chris Erskine last season.
  13. Did think the other day there wasn’t a formal advertisement, quite often see clubs even on social media put a post out inviting applications.
  14. Surely financially over a season you would lose more money through loss of crowds more than anything, the colt teams bring next to nothing as we’ve seen in the cup games and the lowland league has hardly had a huge upturn in attendances. As for the current management/playing squad, I’m not worried yet as it’ll take a while to interview a new manager, I do hope we’ve set a deadline for anyone offered a new deal though so we know what we have for a new manager coming in.
  15. It’s being touted as financially better, but are games against colts teams every other weeks with no crowds remotely interesting for anyone?
  16. Obviously not, but if we were offering him the managers job do you think we’d announce that he’d been offered terms as a player as well?
  17. Given McLean has been offered a deal as a player for next year, I can’t see how any rumour of him possibly being manager holds any credibility.
  18. I agree he shouldn’t have been kept on as manager, but I do think his experience and connections in the game could be beneficial in the role we have given him. I understand peoples dislike for him, but equally I’m willing to see how it plays out with a new manager.
  19. 2 other jobs have been merged into a director of football, so seems we’re saving a wage.
  20. Given how horribly bad we were this season, saying we’ll have an almost completely new squad isn’t a surprise. Can see the logic of moving Duffy upstairs, a head coach appointment sooner than later is needed.
  21. I would disagree on Allan being a terrible decision. There was money on the table, how much we will see, but the player obviously wanted to go as well. There is no point in keeping a player who wants to pursue a better move.
